We just interviewed a candidate who spent the entire session cheating in real time. He thought we couldn’t tell.

So it started with him saying his camera wouldn't come on, some PC issue or whatever. This happens at times, so we just moved on.

We asked our first question and he answered it perfectly. The response was very smooth and complete in a way that sounded more like reading than thinking.

But we weren't sure yet, so we asked him something specific about a document he had submitted himself.

And this was where we caught him.

He first of all acted like he didnt get the question so as to stall. After few mins of us repeating the question, he answered by reading it back to us, word for word, straight off the page.

That was when our suspicion became a fact. I smiled. My co-interviewer smiled too.

We became more flexible with our questions and his responses made it clear that he wasn’t just reading from somewhere but also running our questions through a voice-to-voice AI and feeding himself the answers as we spoke.

He has a strong GPA and a major award to his name, and there's probably real talent underneath all of it.

But @MtScholarships will not accept anyone who cheats their way in. No matter the level of excellence they have attained.

You stand at a disadvantage if you swallow their gloomy opinions hook, line and sinker.

Regardless, his efforts at maintaining a peaceful dressing room is a major contributor and should be commended.

One hardly understands trending topics this days. You click on one to get more information but all you get are adverts and unrelated tweets with just a mention of the trending topics.

The point is to reach a wider audience but it's honestly quite discouraging.
