Naive voters think their ‘politicians’, who promise them moons and stars in campaigns & manifestos, will restore their dignity. Such choice of words, the unparliamentary language & choicest of invective, as the purported audio shows, will not even be cleared by the porn industry!
Audio of mothers and sisters being abused has gone viral.
Hope both Yasir Reshi and Gilkar are thrown out by their respective parties immediately.
Kashmir is watching who stands with dignity and who stands with abuse. @MehboobaMufti@sajadlone
What a fall!
@jkpdp now taking refuge behind a non-political entity whose only CV is "someone's brother, someone's son." From "re-opening Silk Route to Central Asia" to taking refuge behind owner of Just Baked Bakery."
From politics to pastries 🍰
It is deeply unfortunate that our political discourse has descended into mudslinging, rabble-rousing and cheap rhetoric. This is certainly not the way to find meaningful solutions to the pressing challenges we face,” he said. https://t.co/TacUBnq5Xm
Mehbooba Mufti says the video is real, not deepfake.
@JKNC and others now have more to attack @jkpdp with. The press conference was a self-goal. And the "Banta Hain" controversy? No end in sight.
Don't be surprised if the BJP comes to the rescue of PDP by issuing a hard-hitting statement against them.
A statement designed to invoke sympathy for PDP among Kashmiris.
This is what you call match-fixing.
Watch the script unfold.
Godi media + paid journalists will now debate "BJP vs PDP".
Why? To bury @MehboobaMufti's insensitive remarks against Kashmiris.
Wake up Kashmir.
From @MehboobaMufti down to PDP spokespersons, all will start attacking BJP leaders.
First: get statements issued against you. Next: pretend to fight back.
Scripted.

The video shared by @tanvirsadiq is genuine. The snippet is from the IANS video recorded on the day @MehboobaMufti addressed the @Cockroachisback protest at Jantar Mantar. @jkpdp's claim that it is AI-generated is false.
The clip was first shared by a US-based NRK.
Appalled by Mehbooba Mufti Sahibas remarks. For a former Chief Minister to virtually justify the use of force against Kashmiri protesters by saying “banta hai” is nothing short of disgraceful. Worse still, she has gone to the extent of branding protesting Kashmiris as “militants.”
No, Madam. “Banta hai” does not.
Kashmiris are equal citizens of this country. The pain, dignity and rights of a Kashmiri student or protester are no less than those of any other Indian.
Sadly, the PDP has too often found itself rationalising the suffering of Kashmiris instead of standing unequivocally with them. That is not leadership, it is abdication. Shame.
@jkpdp says Mehbooba Mufti’s video was AI-generated. If there is an iota of truth in their claim, let them release the original unedited video . Let the people decide.
The PDP is once again underestimating the intelligence of the people of Kashmir.
First, they expect people to believe that a widely circulated video of Mehbooba Ji is “AI-generated.”
If the video is fake, let them produce an independent forensic report from a reputed technology company proving it was AI-generated. I will publicly apologise.
And let Ms. Mehbooba Mufti herself categorically state that she never uttered the words “Banta Hai.” If that is proven, I will withdraw my statement and apologise.
Until then, by saying that on one side there are militants and on the other the police, so the use of force “Banta Hai”—you have effectively vilified the people of Kashmir and sent a deeply troubling message that force against protesting Kashmiris is somehow justified.
Nothing short of a clear and unequivocal apology to the people of Kashmir will suffice.
Why is @MirwaizKashmir silent on the atrocious comments against Kashmiris by @MehboobaMufti? Will he break his silence?
Why are @OmarAbdullah@sajadlone not commenting on the attempt to portray all natives of Kashmir as terrorists?
Are we terrorists? Gen- Z is watching. Hi
In Kashmir students still await Sub-Committee’s report on reservation meant to be brought into the public domain well over a year ago. Who is responsible for this gross incompetence? Shouldn’t heads roll?
Why no accountability from this government? Or will statehood also be used an excuse in this case to justify their maladministration?
What an insensitive comment to make, as if the previous obnoxious statement wasn’t enough.
For politics, they can rationalise anything & defend the indefensible.
They don’t care how their insensitivity inflicts lifelong trauma & psychological hurt on those at the receiving end.
