There must be orgs with access to both OpenAI cybersecurity models (Daybreak) and Anthropic (Glasswing)
So why no one published a head-to-head comparison?
@jlffinance@TheZvi I don’t know much about market impact you get on these things, but when liquidity is that low it is hard to get meaningful exposure.
E.g. one might not even bother to trade because it is hard to get 1K exposure -> information stays off the market -> market is inefficient
@sama Anthropic: advocating for a pause in frontier model development due to recursive self-improvement/alignment risk
OpenAI: 3 goals, one of them is autonomous AI researcher
@simonw A per-tool limit essentially shifts the burden of setting up multiple tools and picking the best one to all engineers;
I’d much rather have a small team owning it and providing a solid out-of-the-box setup for everyone else
@ClaudeDevs Looks like this feature works by changing the model training procedure itself: teaching the model to recognize a system instruction mid-session as authoritative (same as the first one)
If so, that level of vertical integration is wild
@ClaudeDevs Nice feature indeed!
But managed agents + self-hosted sandboxes are getting hard to differentiate
Before advanced harness was the moat;
Now a script that spins up VM and launches claude SDK with dynamic workflows gets you the same experience
@gd_gattaca@TSIPS1267@titanbuilderxyz Good question actually
I don’t have a first-principle reply here, but in TradFi retail-focused speed-bump exchanges (IEX, TSX Alpha) never really took off
DeFi might be different though
@TSIPS1267@titanbuilderxyz Good point on the builder dependency:
Wonder if propAMM could enforce Titan-only execution on-chain (Titan signature for every trade).
Centralization concern, but it’d eliminate adverse selection in non-Titan blocks → better maker prices → more flow → more Titan market share
@TSIPS1267@titanbuilderxyz Fair, by “arb” I meant specifically toxic arb (CEX-DEX, etc)
I agree that propAMM might be attractive for sophisticated participants using it as a leg in multi-venue arb - thanks for pointing that out
@TSIPS1267@titanbuilderxyz If there’s an arb, makers will just adjust their quotes to kill it - they’re faster than arbs by design (speed bump).
The two-bundle setup doesn’t change that, it just routes the arb to the regular DEX
@titanbuilderxyz Makers get retail flow, retail gets better prices, Titan gets private flow - beautiful
Wonder if this "exchange layer" gets separated from the builder and starts selling matched deals to all builders, sharing profits with takers/makers
