You stopped the Genocide against the Tutsi, and the world remained silent.
You made Kigali a safe, clean, and beautiful city, and they thought it was easy.
You built the Kigali Convention Centre, and they thought that was the limit.
You built Kigali Arena, and they thought that was as far as Rwanda could go.
You transformed Amahoro Stadium, and they said other countries had bigger stadiums.
You brought the UCI Cycling World Championships to Rwanda 🚴♂️🌍, and they said, “It’s just cycling.”
Now, you brought Formula One in Rwanda and the whole world is paying attention. 🏎️🔥
Again and again, Rwanda has shown that Africa can dream big, organize boldly, and compete on the global stage.
Thank you, President Paul Kagame, for making Rwanda proud and putting Africa’s potential in the global spotlight. 🇷🇼🌍
Your vision and Rwanda’s journey remind us that greatness is not determined by the size of a country, but by the ambition, determination, and hard work of its people.
I’m sorry but we stood no chance 😭 You look at the calibre of people other countries appoint as ministers and then look at South Africa. Rwanda has a Sports Minister with a degree in Economics and a Master’s in Economic Policy Management. Ours his background includes a criminal conviction with no qualifications. We even have a Minister of Defence with no military rank. The difference in the standards we accept for public office is staggering.
#Rwanda's Sports Minister Nelly Mukazayire says preparations to host the Formula 1 African Grand Prix will focus on three key areas: competition, entertainment and business.

Thanks to President Paul Kagame’s leadership, Africa is hosting Formula 1 again after 37 years.
Fellow Africans, this is proof that African countries can dream big and achieve ambitious goals with effective leadership and determination. This is a continental win that we should all celebrate.
Rwanda to the world. Africa to the world.
