Regardless of what people think or say, Tejas Mk1A and Mk2 will be inducted in large numbers. The IAF is fully committed to both. Simply because 114+36 Rafales are not enough to bridge the numbers gap. You need a minimum of 350–400 Tejas (Mk1/Mk1A/Mk2) as your workhorse alongside upgraded Su-30s in the 2030s. AMCA and FCAS will take a long time to arrive.
