One week ago, Umuganda at @nyandungupark marked a big win for nature! With #SUNCASA partners, government institutions, Eco-Park management, Friends of Nature & local communities, we planted thousands of native trees to restore 58 hectares of degraded land.

Today marks the launch of #MuLaKiLa Project’s 2024 tree-planting campaign in @NgororeroDistr ! We’re reaching 3.3 million trees planted, including 22 indigenous species out of 29 total to enrich biodiversity, restore landscapes, and support local livelihoods.

In Kigali, Rwanda, SUNCASA will restore critical upstream micro-catchments in the lower Nyabarongo River watershed to reduce flood risk, landslides, and soil erosion.
