@MouyyadA doing a little staycation at the Sinclair in FTW so had to make @paxandbeneficia our first stop! The location is beautiful.
The Zahr and Sunshine were great as was the staff!
@kanekallaway The only challenge against the idea is finding established creators vs creators who have an ownable POV and personality. The latter is more Barstool...then giving them the ownership to find the way that content best comes to life. Fail fast, build faster.
The media's attacks on Donald Trump's mental fitness are totally baseless.
To prove the point, here's a challenge to the press and the Biden White House: let's have the November election decided right now.
Give Donald Trump and Joe Biden a cognitive test and make the winner the president.
I'll take that bet because Trump will kick Biden's butt.

For an industry that employs so many strategists, how so few agencies and holding companies have a solid strategy around who they are and what they provide is mind-boggling.
"Make more money" is not a strategy.
@emmmily_e My neighbor's a big scotch whisky guy and has me hooked on Balvenie...prices range, but I keep two of their $75ish bottles (a 12 year and a sherry casked) for nicer occasions.
@madebybadcode PREACH
And my favorite - any brand participating in "unhinged" TikTok and Twitter who are all "this was our idea 100% and no one else's!" when something lands and "we're young - it's not our fault!" when it doesn't.
1. Wait.
2. Do nothing.
3. Let culture do its thing without your interference.
4. Take credit internally.
5. LinkedIn post taking credit externally.
6. Conference keynote about your success.
7. Accept new role or launch consultancy.
8. Grift on.
This is frustrating semantics - yes, most parents support wanting the best for their child, but they've also become disenfranchised with the mismanagement of public school funds.
This tries to circumnavigate the current problem, but it doesn't address it at all.
The #txlege House has scheduled debate on HB 1, a school choice bill, for the first time in over a decade. @TexasGOP Chairman @MattRinaldiTX released the following statement:
“Governor Abbott has been relentless in his efforts to bring school choice to Texas. After multiple attempts to address the issue have failed in the House, Governor Abbott has forced them to tackle school choice head-on. Poll after poll shows a majority of Texans, across party lines, support school choice so parents can decide the best school for their child. We join the chorus of Governor @GregAbbott_TX, @GovernorPerry, and Senator @tedcruz in asking the Texas House to stand with parents.”
@Molson_Hart We've found luck with two approaches.
1. We talk about what we're going to do next and when it's going to happen. "TV's off in two min when this song is done."
2. Give this or that choices that gives him better control. "TV's off until tomorrow but we can eat or color."
@Adam_Karpiak Fully demoralizing. It's hard to draw a comparison to something else. It hurts emotionally and makes you question everything...if you misspoke, if you misrepresented, if you were never good enough in the first place, if you misread the situation.
Just an overall bad time.
@jappleby Guilty of this too, but I see a lot of SMMs get in an echo chamber where they talk about all the roles they're forced to sometimes fill (copy, creative, strat, etc), and assume any other marketing role isn't also tasked to do the same breadth of work.
