Michael really didn't change his face past what he admitted to. People don't get that vitiligo completely changes how your face "reads." When you go from dark skin to losing pigment, light reflects off your face differently and tricks the eye, even when the bone structure is identical.

Plus, the nose is the center of the face, so changing it shifts your whole look. Toss in aging and dramatic styling changes over the decades, and it makes sense why he “looked different.”

Deciding that I’m NOT going to hide myself anymore, and that I’m going to SHOW UP as I am regardless of who judges me, has been one of the biggest confidence boosters for me

Even the HATE has somehow served me well tbh lol 😂 Every time someone leaves a nasty comment, it still brings my content to more people, and some of those people end up being beautiful, unique, creative individuals who I would have never discovered otherwise. So in a weird way, the negativity has helped me find more of my people. 🩷

Annndddd I realized that I genuinely do NOT enjoy assimilating into the traditional “professional” image ( I think it’s mad anti black) just because that’s what society considers respectable. I like colorful hair. I like cute, extravagant outfits. I like accessories, creativity, femininity, and looks that actually feel like ME.
