@QuibbleTheBrave @lesb1anadelreyy You're saying it happens yearly, when it has only gotten this warm for the last two years, for 5-8 days each year. It's not normal, and very rarely happens. Previously, (almost every summer for the last 100 years) the maximum temperature we have had to deal with is 26.

Also in the 1950s, the Thames would still freeze, and it happened to be when the majority of our buildings were built. Previously, our "major" heatwaves were only 25°.
