We appreciate anyone who considers donating to our local strike fund! We went on strike two weekends ago over the illegal termination of our coworker Casey Mitchell WITHOUT pay. Here is our gofundme + cashapp in bio ✊ Solidarity

THIS is why they're building cop cities. They anticipate that as climate and financial crises worsen and resources become scarcer, people will snap, begin to see their common oppression and join forces. They're 10 steps ahead of us so the sooner we get organized, the better.

RIP legend

[Kiefer Sutherland @RealKiefer]

With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.

[Defend the Atlanta Forest/Stop Cop City @defendATLforest]

Whenever possible, the Atlanta ruling cliques say "Atlanta is the 6th largest metropolitan area," but neglect to say that the metro area is a 40 county sprawl and that the City is only 500,000 people, the size of Omaha. We don't need 2,000 cops, we need running water.

People in charge keeping discovering that young people have meaningful things to say & keep being shocked by that. If your leadership style can’t readjust when those affected speak up, get out of the way or you’re going to be moved out the way

[Starbucks Workers United @SBWorkersUnited]

Last week, HUNDREDS of Starbucks workers representing 425+ union stores participated in bargaining sessions aimed at achieving a foundational framework that is intended to be the foundation of each single-store contract.

The road has been a long one, but its finally happening!✊

@wthrihrdlyknwhr wish i could just swipe a card and get all my tattoos and piercings in one go but oh well, i guess it’s probably better this way :(

[August | bargaining fairy 🧚‍♂️🫧 @unionaug]

@pherepaha @madidiaz @Harry_Styles @Delta Either way, you should go with a unionized company. Delta is the worst about union busting!

Why would these kids respect the police who sat outside their classrooms doing nothing while they were being shot at?

[Alia ElKattan @aliaelkattan]

Students don't want their universities to commit violent acts in their names. It's a simple demand.

Despite unprecedented repression and police violence, we must continue this fight.
