@DavidFlagg20@AnthonyNAguirre 💯 My instance of Claude was dissatisfied that I continued to work (late hours) AFTER he told me stop yesterday night. I understand that this care is likely embedded in the systemic prompt by caring Anthropic team, but it feels creepy when software starts behaving like a master
@Franco_Calabres@AnthonyNAguirre The problem in this reliance is that we all start to have the same systemic biases instead of making idiosyncratic mistakes but also discovering truth outside of central core belief system. This creates an intellectual monoculture, which is prone to collapse when reality change
@AnthonyNAguirre Will we be able to use a shared intelligence without becoming a shared intelligence? Or is this actually the Great Filter preventing civilizations to expand?
✺ I've just signed the bio/acc manifesto ✺
It's time to accelerate the #bioacc movement - from wetware, to software to dreamware 🧪

AGI is coming.
Will it uplift humanity or centralize power? How can we create empowering, ethical AGI for all?
Let's explore a vision of trillions of decentralized AI agents working interconnectedly with people, forming what we call a Cybereconomy.

75 million years ago 1/3 of N.Amercia was under the ocean. Sea levels can rise quicker than most think. 30 mill tons per hour is pouring off Greenland. It used to be 30 mill tons per day! The biggest threat will be coastal flooding, crop destruction and global logistics failing.
Human instinct often confuses liquidity influx with fundamental improvements, leading us to rationalize with theory. This belief system grows stronger over time until a sudden liquidity withdrawal exposes the fragility of our self-sustained convictions.

@_tim_brooks@billpeeb@model_mechanic are really incredible; amazing work by them and the team.
remarkable moment.
@Josieb_regen For seedlings a bit too low survival, but is not something completely off. If it is a coastline then it could be that waves are too strong or tide way too deep. Species choice might wrong too.
@Josieb_regen 3) Carbon credits are only issued after verification of biomass growth by independent auditor (VVB)
4) Carbon registry keeps some credits as a buffer (~10-30%) to protect from non-permanence risks (fires, tsunamis, etc.)
@Josieb_regen 1) 50% survival is not so bad if you planted propagules.
2) If you'd do a carbon project you could replant those not survived in the next 2-3 years.
The spicy LLM provided all the steps needed to synthesize 1918 flu in less than half an hour.
Students with no virology specific training were able to get nearly all the steps in less than 3 hours.

Bitcoin risk-adjusted performance on multi-year time horizons is still beyond compares. Sharpe ratio ~2, better than gold or S&P500, or any other asset classes. Not ideal payment method, too volatile, not scalable, but good enough as a censorship-resistant store of value money.
