We must learn to hold more than just the President accountable.
Governors, ministers, local government chairmen, and every public office holder entrusted with resources and responsibility must also answer for their actions.
The President allocates funds, but what happens after those funds are received matters just as much. Too often, we focus on one office and ignore the many others whose decisions directly affect our daily lives.
Accountability must not stop at the top. It must reach every level of government.
He clearly embraces the role of being the 'God-appointed' leader of the same people he actively gaslights, but what do I know about being a televangelist with a chruch, or shall I say, an 'organization', that thousands of people pay their hard-earned taxes, sorry, tithes to?
I suppose the complaint about "talking too much" won't stand when he inevitably tries and succeeds in persuading his audience to give their tithes and offerings for the umpteenth time, despite the growing struggles of that same audience in a country he refuses to talk about.
"Nigeria is a funny country. All those who used to speak out during Jonathan's administration, why are they not talking now? They say men of God are no longer speaking about the current situation in the country. When we were shouting, did you people speak up? We have been speaking out for a long time. Even Pastor Oyedepo did, and people said we talk too much."
— Pastor David Ibiyeomie
🚨Claude Code just gave me a complete research paper with a single prompt.
The paper has a strong argument and even beats AI-detection app, Pangram.
With a little editing, it can pass for 100% human, and can be easily submitted for peer review.
Here's the workflow I used:
Super excited to share our recent work now out in @Nature! We introduce trans-synaptic tracing tools from circuit neuroscience to study the whole-brain connectome of glioblastoma. https://t.co/tSbJMzQrIn
hooray, the "Bayesian Models of Cognition" book is out, for all your Bayesian models of cognition needs :)
(I contributed to 3 chapters in the book -- development, intuitive physics, theory of mind -- that can be read on the ol' website)
