Some exciting news. I am starting an online bookclub for English-speaking E/SE Asian diaspora 🙂
We will have short assigned readings (<1 hour) and a weekly discussion meeting on Twitter Spaces or Discord.
We will be reading Asian history books and de-colonial literature.
Ana Kasparian just read the most damning report on Israel's prisons. Sexual torture is organized state policy, endorsed by the highest authorities. Women are raped for days. Men are raped by dogs. Fire extinguisher nozzles are inserted into bodies.
This is how western media's moral state defend itself and they refuse to report. Rape as state policy. Torture as organized practice. Women and men are violated in the most brutal ways
Instead of thinking how we can disarm Iran of its nuclear material,
Why not start asking our leaders why Israel is allowed to have nukes despite it being a violation of international law and disrupting the regional balance of power?
Maybe then Iran won’t need nukes.

Iran doesn’t need nukes if Israel doesn’t.
Americans really need to stop patting themselves on the back for how anti-racist they are just because it is a bigger part of the daily discourse. They can brag about it once they fix the health and life outcome disparities between blacks and whites, to start.
@signulll It’s funny how you frame America’s visible dealings with its intractable race problems as evidence of its enlightenment as opposed to the fact that it simply has a larger amount of accumulated race-related sins it has to atone for.

Trump reveals the military is building a fallout bunker under his new ballroom:
“The military is building a massive complex underneath the ballroom.”
So nice to know that in the event of a nuclear war the corrupt politicians who caused the war will survive while we all die.
As most of you know, my son is a Sailor. He sent a picture of his lunch yesterday from the galley. I’m thankful that we are finally taking care of our men and women in uniform. 🙏🏻🇺🇸
@Sam75614812@conservmillen North Korea has never forgotten the million+ that died to US ordinance and napalm. USA bombed hospitals and dams. If anyone should be afraid of karma, it is the USA.
I’m Korean and never asked for a movie like this. I’m still waiting for a movie about a Korean Ivy League grad who goes to Wall St and becomes addicted to cocaine and hookers.
@ianbremmer@abd1rahman@KimIversenShow the problem with this framing is that it seems to imply that these same people aren’t also rooting american people to overthrow their murderous and expansionist zionist regime.
i think you’re fundamentally misreading the room here. we really can’t claim the high ground anymore.
It doesn’t make sense for the US-led world order to demand Iranian nuclear disarmament while the expansionist Zionist regime is next door and has nukes (totally illegally may I add).
There needs to be a balance of power in the Middle East for global security.
@charcochoe2025@captain_seo_@TimothyS@Newrawriot The main risk of DPRK from China’s perspective is internal collapse or external regime change. As long as South Korea doesn’t sign onto overt aggression against DPRK, it will be okay. China also doesn’t want the DPRK invading South Korea.
@charcochoe2025@captain_seo_@TimothyS@Newrawriot DPRK and Korea in general is a buffer state from the perspective of China. So it is always up to be sacrificed if it means protecting Chinese interests. At the same time, it is also seen as an “extension” of China which is why they won’t allow it to be destroyed by the West.
@charcochoe2025@NatalieRevolts@Newrawriot It’s unlikely in my opinion due to the DPRK already having nukes. China would also oppose a war so close to their borders. I think Korea is okay for now. My hope though is that the USA/Israel utterly fails at achieving regime change in Iran.
Every time I see an Iron Dome missile battery get demolished, I cheer inside. Until I realize that shit is MY tax dollars 😭
We should all be demanding an unconditional cut to all military aid to Israel. Let them fight their own goddamn wars.
Exercising my First Amendment right as an American citizen to say I sincerely hope we lose in Iran 🇺🇸
Yes, it hurts to think of all the money and resources we will have wasted, but it is the only right outcome of this godforsaken and pedophilic war campaign.
Would the Founding Fathers approve of Trump's war in Iran? I won't pretend to speak for them. But in January, I sat down with George AI and asked for its views on foreign entanglements and military action. Here's what it said.
@sofyamitchell A very spiteful and ignorant comment that can be easily disproven with a simple internet search.
Here are some of the current top recognized Korean beauties: Han So-hee, Kim Ji-soo, and Song Hye-Kyo. I’m a fan of Jisoo myself.
Please stop the gremlin-posting 🙏
