The $ORA token was launched on 12/31/2023. Created by @vestigefi’s @grzracz. It’s an ASA ran by a smart contract that is mined similarly to Bitcoin. Enter Algo into one of the three miners, compete with other users to mine $ORA by sending transactions into the network.

@orangesmeme has been a community effort. There was no pre-mine, no airdrop, no team allocation (not even a team). All of $ORA’s progress since inception has been made possible by dedicated community members.

Like Bitcoin, $ORA has halvings, which reduces the reward by half every year or so. The next halving is expected 7/31/26
