Quick lesson: You have to monitor ROAS at the keyword and search term level.
A practical example with actual numbers:
First image is a campaign's last 28-day metrics. ROAS looks meh.
Second image is the campaign's keyword breakdown. Do you see the problems?
We can make this campaign have really strong ROAS just by pausing some keywords. That's it.
Without monitoring revenue and ROAS at the keyword/search term level, you cannot be profitable with ASA.
@Emmett_Deen@HonestCodelol It counts view-through installs. If your ads shown and user installs the app organically, it counts it as attribution. That's why I am always saying ignore Total metrics.
First two days of June so far.
After commissions and government taxes, my ROI is 10.9%.
I get my money 45 days later on average, and its cost is ~$3.
So if it goes like this, it will return $750 net in one month, for $7,275 ad spend.
Would you keep running these ads?
@canonicalizedco You have keyword level ROAS, and you can see which search terms are triggered by those keywords.
So it won't be an exact value for search terms, but merging this data gives meaningful insights.
Hey, please change total metrics with the tap-through ones. Total metrics are telling nothing.
we need more data, but speaking current metrics:
tbh, your ttr is too low, if we think tap-through CRs are same with total, you can have less cpa by improving them. CR should be sth around 75%
