As military defeat looms, Pakistan may turn to nuclear weapons against the people of Balochistan

The Republic of Balochistan has expressed its deep concern over the unprovoked use of force by the occupying Pakistani forces against the peaceful protestors of PoJK (Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir). We strongly condemn the indiscriminate firing, targeted killings, and the serious and escalating human rights violations committed against the civilian population, while extending its solidarity and sympathy to the people of PoJK.

Our people successfully regained control of approximately eighty-five percent of Balochistan’s territory from Pakistani occupation. In response, the Pakistani military has deployed large numbers of tanks, heavy artillery and other military assets across vast areas of Balochistan, including Nushki, Panjgur, Dalbandin, Khuzdar, Zehri, Sibi, Ziarat, and the border regions of Dera Bugti adjoining Sindh and Punjab provinces. Pakistan has also intensified the deployment of fighter aircraft, helicopters, and drones. Furthermore, the occupying Pakistani forces have accelerated their harassment of Baloch fishermen in the coastal regions of Jiwani, Gwadar, Ormara, and other surrounding areas.

The Pakistani military has significantly increased the enforced disappearances of civilians throughout Balochistan. In addition, there has been a noticeable rise in the killing of previously detained Baloch hostages and extrajudicial killings carried out under the guise of fake encounters. The Republic of Balochistan wishes to alert the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the United Nations, the United States, European countries, the of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation), the wider international community, and neighboring countries that Pakistan, in an attempt to avoid defeat in Balochistan, may resort to the use of nuclear weapons in Balochistan.

Pakistani military is not a professional army, it is a bunch of mafia, which has already killed two hundred thousand Baloch people since 1948 and, after the mass killing of millions of Pashtuns, has now turned its guns toward the Kashmiri nation as well, where it is engaged in brutal killings in Rawalakot and other areas.

The Republic of Balochistan urgently calls upon the international community to immediately place Pakistan's nuclear arsenal under international control and confiscate them before the jihadist Pakistani military uses these dangerous weapons against Baloch, civilians. Pakistan's military, occupying institutions and their paid media are openly advocating the genocide of the Baloch, Pashtun, and Kashmiri peoples. The use of nukes against Baloch nation, is not a prediction but the terror mindset that never tolerated the existence, history and identity of our people. Pakistan has already employed every form of military force against the Baloch citizens, ranging from F-16 fighter aircraft and missiles to its full air and ground military force, leaving nuclear weapons as the only remaining option.

The Pakistani military killed three million Bengalis in 1971 without any hesitation, and later carried out the first nuclear attack against the Baloch people by conducting six consecutive nuclear tests in Chaghai Ras Koh mountains, on 28 May 1998 without the consent or permission of the Baloch nation. Now, as it faces the prospect of defeat, it may not refrain from using nuclear weapons in Balochistan once again.

We therefore urge the international community to immediately recognize the independence of the Republic of Balochistan, facilitate a legal pathway for the integration of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir with India, and strengthen political and diplomatic efforts to reintegrate Pashtunistan with Afghanistan. These vital steps will end Pakistan’s decades long terrorism, and nuclear blackmailing and economic exploitation.
