I think this is the most popular UpEnd tweet. It turns out it is also very insensitive to women and women's issues. It depicts a pain point that women have to endure every day — not to educate men about it, but to exploit it for a point about something entirely different. 1/4 https://t.co/AgwppmpOO5
@NateSilver538@bycoffe@ellawinthrop@baseballot You guys did the same mistake for the last NBC/WSJ poll, including one (impeach and remove) but not just inquiry. This is inconsistent given that you include inquiry numbers from other polls, and both numbers when they ask both questions.
@NateSilver538 Nate, you guys are actually UNDERcounting Fox's polled impeachment support. The 51% is impeach and remove, but the number for impeach inquiry is 55% (51+4). You are not including it in the data behind the 538 chart

You can despise Wikileaks and everything it stands for. You can think Assange is an evil spirit reanimated by Putin himself. But you cannot support the prosecution of a publisher for publishing without narrowing the basic rights every newspaper relies on. https://t.co/Hs5XH6Vmzz
For the #notallmen crowd: you still have to interrogate your own complicity in the idea that a woman is not a person with her own life, but a background resource for you to utilise.
The war on whistleblowers continues under a new White House: the first journalistic source prosecuted under Trump, Reality Winner, was denied a defense, jailed over 5 years. Her "crime"? Showing us @NSAGov suspected Russia of hacking an election vendor. https://t.co/3yKsDVAEPt
The Holocaust was legal. Slavery was legal. Segregation was legal.
The brave woman who cared for and hid my 6 year-old aunt in an attic in Budapest was a criminal. She broke the law by sheltering Juden.
Legality is not a guide for morality.
We’re evacuating GitHub ourselves! Stay tuned! Place a watch on our GitHub repo, follow us on twitter, or send an email (on the repo page)! https://t.co/CHD5EpVsr5
Okay, I take back that I wasn't worried about #Microsoft and #GitHub. While logged out I tried finding the evacuation plan that was the #1 trending a few days ago, and couldn't find it today. Microsoft censoring @UpEnd_Org's repo? https://t.co/30Yu0qOO6y
#Censorship growth will result in massive movement of key #developpers from #Github now owned by #Microsoft to newly established website. Maybe @Microsoft could more precisely think over what they are doing with their #investments. In fact they "bought" mainly developers for free https://t.co/afBIa9OkFw

Well that didn't take long. Here's your sign. Time to move things to support proper decentralization and free software initiatives. https://t.co/tkjdSd9KkN
