I’m not saying he looks bad.
I’m saying 20-year-olds who actually train, eat, and sleep don’t look like college kids. They look like they’ve been grown for a while.
That’s the part people don’t want.
Doing this on Curls is NOT necessary
In a lot of ways, it’s actually pretty retarded
Just do your Curls like normal ideally with upper arm support
One with a supinated grip and one with a neutral grip
HOPE THIS HELPS!
This is the gym equivalent of finding out your printer also makes toast.
Upper-arm support on the pulldown pad is basically a free preacher bench. Less swing, more biceps, zero extra setup. 2026 really said ‘stop ignoring the pad.’
2026 is going to be the year everyone finds out the Lat Pull-Down Machine is also….
….a BICEP CURL STATION
Quite literally one of the MOST EFFECTIVE exercises for targeting the Biceps and it’s almost no setup
Gonna keep telling y’all:
Upper Arm Support is AMAZING for Biceps
@Ironmute@DeanTTraining Agreed. Effort is the multiplier.
A “perfect” exercise with 5 RIR is just expensive cardio.
Where do you personally draw the line though?
At what point does a movement become so suboptimal that even grinding it out isn’t worth it vs switching?
What’s more important for building muscle?
A perfect exercise selection
or
actually pushing your sets hard?
Because I see people arguing about exercises while leaving 5 reps in reserve on everything.
@DeanTTraining
@pandababe43_h Fair point, the pad isn’t as adjustable as a real preacher so the stretch is a bit shorter. Most people still get more out of the extra stability and zero-cheat isolation than they lose on range. Safer + tighter tension usually wins when form is the bigger limiter.
@kushalchopra15 Yep, hammer curls on that pad slap too. Neutral grip + the support keeps your elbows locked in so you actually hit the brachialis instead of just swinging the weight.
@hotiiofficial The boring stuff really is the cheat code.
Train hard, eat enough, sleep, recover, repeat.
Most people don't need a better program. They need to actually stick to one.

The gym is just climate-controlled hunting. Trust the science harder.
