IDBI Bank employees have announced one-day nationwide hunger strike on Monday (July 27) to protest against the proposed privatisation of IDBI Bank.
Every public sector banks employees should be on hunger strike on 27 th July to oppose privatisation of IDBI Bank ..

Ironically, this year the Government is pushing to privatise IDBI Bank, ignoring the lessons of past bank privatizations. Public Sector Banks are national assets built for public service, not for sale.

We submitted our concerns regarding the privatization of IDBI Bank, and the Hon’ble Minister gave a patient hearing and assured us that he will take up the matter with the Hon’ble Finance Minister at the earliest.
