I want this account to feel real and actually represent me as a person. I’m not sure how i’m going to go about it because it’s really hit me that I am incredibly boring and i’m actually just a blank space of a person. So i’m going to be trying going forward.
@_Fantagonistic_@Mattlikesfilmz no one is saying clayface is gonna change it, just that it’s going to have some interesting and much needed commentary on contemporary time. Just like how the animated series had interesting and needed commentary on the AIDS epidemic.
@lisa_ganz calling the younger generation selfish when we gave up some of the prime years of our lives to keep old idiots safe during covid. We also have to inherit the awful environmental conditions and shit economy that you idiots caused. Old people are a cancer to society.
@Circusbirdboy48@Super_HunTTer h2sh takes place before current continuity. They need to wrap that story up. But Huggins mentioned that everything Gotham related is off the table. Higgins said Dick’s only available cuz he was a teen titans character in the past.
@Circusbirdboy48@Super_HunTTer my point is that higgins spent the entire first issue hammering into everyone’s head that this group of kids are going against authority and doing things themselves. To say they are apart of Dick’s Teen Titans is to strip them of their agency.
@Circusbirdboy48@Super_HunTTer I mean we know he’s not part of Gotham editorial anymore, or at least they don’t get first say on him anyway as of right now. So yeah as of right now, Jason is no longer a batman character.
@Lockheed_166@dcuworld hate to break it to you, Lian infact does act like that now. Might as well quit reading comics because characters change and grow. Also young people do have issues. You don't think the mental health epidemic is an issue?
@fluxandfire93@sleeping0381 i mean considering they thought Jason was also mischaracterised in the issue, I don’t think they’ve actually read any of his past comics. I think they are just a Dick Grayson fan annoyed the Teen Titans are moving on without him lowkey…
@Lockheed_166@dcuworld i thought it was innovative and had some interesting commentary on the social issues young people face within society. While also rebooting the Titans successfully.
What did you dislike?
@Lockheed_166@dcuworld 11th most sold issue of the month, has a high rating of 4.4 on comic LoCG and also won comic of the week, it’s probably going to stick around for a bit. Most the reception has been really positive.
@fluxandfire93@sleeping0381 another one of their criticisms was the issue was too childish. Like your picking up a comic about teenagers, aimed at teenagers and expecting it not be childish?
@fluxandfire93@sleeping0381 and even when he’s prepping for them he’s clearly stressed tf out and pacing back and forth. He’s anything but happy.
i think it’s laughable they just misunderstood a simple cameo in order to justify their hate for the comic.
@_Fantagonistic_@Mattlikesfilmz if you don't think people are treated differently for their looks then your just stupid. Men who partake in looksmaxxing are not wrong about the world. They are just fickle in their approach to solving it. Instead of trying to change society, they conform, causing more harm.
@Circusbirdboy48@Super_HunTTer they are not in the same team that Nightwing created. It’s merely just the same name. Nothing about them is actually related to the Teen Titans and that is made even more clear when they reject the Titans.
