Hindustan had become free. Pakistan had become independent soon after its inception but man was still slave in both these countries -- slave of prejudice. Slave of religious fanaticism. Slave of barbarity and inhumanity.

Happy birthday to Manto 🖤
To those who believe stability can be achieved by ousting an elected provincial government, concentrating power and discarding democratic freedoms, Pakistan’s history stands testimony to how disastrous that path has been for the country and the people.
48% of Pakistan below the poverty line; yet borders remain “secure.” When elite capture drives the state, securitization follows extraction. Secure borders, vulnerable people. The math of hard security never adds up for those at the bottom. #Governance

Madam Chief Minister @MaryamNSharif , when General Zia’s state was building the Afghan jihad infrastructure, was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa making that national policy? When Sipah-e-Sahaba was founded in Jhang in 1985, was Jhang in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? When Lashkar-e-Jhangvi emerged from that organisation, was that a creation of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? When Punjab politicians sought electoral accommodation with leaders of proscribed organisations, were the people of Charsadda making those decisions? So when the consequences of forty years of national security policy arrive at Punjab’s border, by what logic do you identify the neighbouring province as the greater threat?
On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted.
Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.
I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.
I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this.
The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon.
You know who has nuclear weapons?
Israel.
They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it.
Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing.
On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies.
Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians.
Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace.
Not escalating war that is hurting people.
This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most.
This is not making America great again, this is evil.
Massacre of patients in a rehabilitation facility in Kabul by Pakistani bombing is condemnable. Our thoughts & prayers are with the families of the victims. Bombing hospitals is criminal everywhere, in Gaza, Tehran or Kabul. The "war on terror" is a camouflage for genocide.
The reported killings at a rehab facility in Kabul following Pakistani bombing are deeply condemnable & criminal. Our prayers are with the victims’ families. The “war on terror” cannot mask such brutality. Those defending it should remember: karma hits back hard. #AfghanGenocide
What Has America Turned Into? It seems to have been taken straight out of the pages of Game of Thrones.
They assassinated Iranian leaders from behind the scenes, including former President Ahmadinejad, who was an opposition politician. As if that weren’t enough, they bombed the house of activist Zahra Rahnavard, where she lived with her husband under house arrest since 2011. Luckily, both survived.
What is the point of assassinating even opponents? So that no one is left and they can colonize the country, just like they did in Venezuela?
The US was in the middle of a negotiation process when they decided to kill those people and dozens of family members who were also murdered.
Who else will sit down to negotiate with the US? The American regime seems to have been taken straight out of the pages of Game of Thrones.
It wasn’t only the threats of invading Greenland or the ties to separatist movements inside Canada, its neighbor and major partner, but the gangster way America has started behaving toward the world.
The US and Israel today are actually the most lawless regimes on the planet. This is unbelievable because one is the greatest democracy in the West and the other is the state with the most freedoms in the Middle East, and perhaps the only real democracy there.
With all the criticism directed at Putin to this day, much of it fair, in four years of war he has not killed any member of the Ukrainian government, let alone Zelensky, whom Russian drones have already gotten close to, as proven by photos. No, Putin is no good man, but even villains have their limits.
The United States has unfortunately become a cruel, individualistic regime, and it would not be an exaggeration to say it is untrustworthy.
When Iran began bombing American bases, instead of being evacuated, the soldiers were instructed to take shelter in expensive hotels in the region, using civilians as human shields.
What has America turned into? Obviously the equally insane Iranian regime would open fire on those hotels, as it did, putting civilian lives at risk.
The U.S. government has turned into the ultimate lie machine regarding a war, editing and falsifying images and numbers, often even contradicting the president's own exaggerations. It is something unimaginable.
This is not to mention the claims from government members that they should occupy Kharg Island, Iran's main oil facility. In fact, the word wouldn't be 'occupy,' but rather 'purloin.
Every American should pay close attention to this foreign policy because it reflects a mentality that, sooner or later, will be practiced at home, putting rights and social peace in check.
Pakistan has a history of aligning itself with imperial powers. Decisions taken behind closed doors continue to haunt us, notably viz a viz Afghanistan. Rather than debating Pakistan’s foreign policy direction in the Parliament, the govt now cautions public to not to express their opinions on foreign policy matters. Deplorable!
Mojtaba Khamenei is now officially the new Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.
The main achievement of Donald Trump's campaign so far has been to replace Khamenei with Khamenei...
Trump: I did this for Israel.
Rubio: We did this for Israel.
New York Times: They did this for Israel.
Times of Israel: They did this for Israel.
“Geopolitical analysts”: Durr this is because of China!
Israel is bombarding, literally bombarding, two Middle East capitals, Beirut and Tehran, killing 100s of civilians, and yet the US and UK media continue to portray Iran as the threat to the region.
Israel has nukes, but Iran is the nuclear threat.
We live in Orwellian times.
Activist Jane Fonda to Trump; “This is a desperate immoral act in the hope that he can score victory and be declared War President … the people of United States are here to tell Trump. You may wage war in our names but not with our consent. … Let regime change start at home.”
This is the most insane and absurd definition of an ‘imminent threat’ I have ever heard in my life. Our ally and proxy, Israel, that we arm and fund, was about to illegally attack Iran so we joined in the attack because that illegal attack would have led to an attack on us
Nietzsche didn’t fear the abyss — he invited us to stare back. Existential crises aren’t breakdowns; they’re breakthroughs. When your old values collapse, you get to build your own. Become who you are.

France, Germany and the UK have issued a statement condemning Iran's "disproportionate" response. I want to know what they think is a "proportionate" response when invaders assassinate your head of state and civilian leaders in an explicit campaign to destroy your government.
Our region now stands on brink of a wider civil war. Militants have de facto control in many areas. Pak has once again rented out its services without a debate even in a controlled parliament. Wrong steps today can lock nations/countries into consequences lasting generations.
