یہ دعویٰ تاریخی حقائق کے برعکس ہے مگر افسوس تاریخ سے نابلد کئی دانشوروں نے اسے ری ٹویٹ کیاجن میں مشاہد حسین سید اور حامد میر بھی شامل ہیں۔آزاد کشمیر میں پہلی بار الیکشن ایوب خان کے دور میں ہوا جب بنیادی جمہوریت کا نظام متعارف کروایا گیا۔بی ڈی سسٹم کے تحت “آزاد جموں کشمیر اسٹیٹ کونسل“تشکیل دی گئی جو 24 ارکان پر مشتمل تھی،12 نشستیں آزادکشمیر کے مکینوں کی اور اتنی ہی مہاجرین کی یعنی یکساں نمائندگی تھی۔ اس نظام کے تحت اکتوبر 1962میں پہلا صدارتی الیکشن ہوا جو خورشید حسن خورشید نے جیتا،اس وقت 6 صدارتی امیدواروں میں سے 4 مہاجر تھے۔بعد ازاں 1974 میں صدارتی نظام کو پارلیمانی نظام میں تبدیل کیا گیا تو مہاجرین کے لئے نشستوں کا تناسب کم ہوا مگر جو کابینہ تشکیل پائی اس میں دو مہاجر وزرا شامل تھے۔جن کشمیری مہاجرین نے ہجرت کی ،اگر آپ ان کا حق تسلیم نہیں کرتے تو یہ مسئلہ کشمیر کو زندہ درگور کرنے کے مترادف ہوگا۔ اگر راولپنڈی ،سیالکوٹ یا لاہور میں قیام پذیر مہاجرین کا کشمیر سے کوئی تعلق نہیں تو برطانیہ میں میرپور (آزاد کشمیر) سے تعلق رکھنے والے تقریباً دس لاکھ کشمیریوں سے بھی لاتعلقی کا اعلان کرنا ہوگا۔
