So capitalism is now responsible for the outcomes of a government-run education system funded by taxes, operated by bureaucracies, protected from competition, and consuming hundreds of billions of dollars annually?
By that logic, every success in technology, medicine, food production, and living standards should be credited to capitalism.
Funny how capitalism gets blamed for government failures but government never gets blamed for government failures.
The federal government has long ignored the fact that its powers are “few and defined,” as James Madison described them in Federalist 45, while describing the powers removed to the states as “numerous and indefinite.”
When Congress ignores limits on federal power, it becomes less capable of funding and overseeing core functions that the federal government is uniquely and unambiguously authorized to perform under the Constitution.
This is tragic.
It’s time for a “constitutional reset.”
Hear it from Madison himself! 👇
Shocking stat of the day
May 2026 govt data showed 81% of all individual and corporate income taxes went to paying interest on the national debt.
Full year of 2026, the US govt estimates 43% of individual and corporate incomes taxes will go to interest on the national debt.
Most of government spending for defense, and all of the various agencies, is funded by new debt. Because most of the tax revenue now has to go to interest payments first before anything else is paid.

Why do companies slap rainbows on everything in June?
@robbystarbuck says it’s not about inclusion.
They’re sucking up to the Human Rights Campaign, a powerful leftist activist group.
If companies do what the HRC asks, they get a good score on the misnamed “Equality Index.”
After denouncing the current Court as "rogue" for not ruling as the left has demanded, Buttigieg endorsed the plan of Democrats like Sen. Elizabeth Warren to pack the Court to reverse adverse constitutional interpretations...https://t.co/ixUqKa5kqL
“But what will the rest of the world think of us?” is a bullshit argument.
A. America don’t care.
B. “Rest of the world” is almost always code for global leftists anyway, and the regular people of other countries can’t stand their bossy shit libs either.
Living our lives based on the theoretical approval of an imaginary global monoculture is stupid. Nobody buys this anymore. Just be American and be awesome.
Always appreciate when a liberal takes time to put down the burning flag to let us know some military ceremony isn’t being carried out to the satisfaction of their sense of patriotism
And then what?
The country loses decades (at least) of economic growth and technological advancement, hundreds of thousands of jobs, and millions of investment opportunities, all so you could blow a little bit of money one time.
Communism is brain rot.
listen up, we have to vote for the man with the nazi tattoo so he can stop the man landing rockets and curing the blind from making any more money, otherwise we’ll get fascism
you see how stupid you sound, yes?
Congratulations @ElonMusk.
Thanks to SpaceX's IPO, he's the first Trillionaire.
He didn't TAKE money from anyone. He CREATED wealth.
He launched satellites that connect even the poorest, most remote parts of the world.
Our world needs more MAKERS like Musk; fewer TAKERS like:
Me: I don't want the government controlling my life and taking my earnings.
Socialist: BOOTLICKER!
Whose boots am I licking?
My own?
The entire accusation only makes sense if they assume someone must be controlled by someone.
The idea that a person might simply want to run their own life never occurs to them.
