@mcfunny@KUPERWASSERLAB@FDA@FDADrugs@CDCgov The titer levels seemed unexpected. LabCorb started at 250, increased 2,500 and then to 25,000. Is MORE always better? Might recurring strong immune responses have non-specific effects that are not being studied?
@mcfunny@KUPERWASSERLAB@FDA@FDADrugs@CDCgov Would love to see the comparison of the whole panel in vaccinated vs natural infection. We know antibody titer levels were many fold greater in mRNA vaccinated. Is there a trade-off or cost for that? What are the long-term effects of such strong and repeated immune responses?
@gavi “The antigens [disease-causing particles] present in vaccines are a small fraction compared to what our bodies naturally encounter every day.” This statement seems designed to mislead parents. Activating the adaptive immune response is NOT = to merely encountering antigens!
@matthewshaw1111 Is it surprising that limited or poor understanding might lead to unexpected, uncharacterized ACTUAL adverse effects when intervening in a complex system? Do the authors seem to recognize this? Wish I could read the whole publication but it's behind a paywall.
@GVDBossche Shouldn’t we remember that it wasn’t low IQ individuals who got us into this mess? Perhaps intelligence without wisdom is the greater risk?
@DrJackKruse Wasn't SV40 already present in the monkey kidney cell cultures used for polio vaccine production and simply not discovered until 1960? I'm confused by the claim that Ochsner "began the original gain of function research" that gave us SV40 contamination. What am I missing?
@MaryBowdenMD Wasn't this labcorp test authorized under an FDA COVID-19 EUA? With RFK Jr.’s termination of COVID EUA declarations taking effect Dec. 26, 2026, what will be the effect on the availability of this test? Does anyone know if Labcorp will pursue another approval pathway?
@vejon_health@Mujhunter always points out the important research paper that showed this effect. Coronavirus expert Ralph Baric was one of the authors. https://t.co/NTHwSAA7rO
@susanLanglois15 Appreciated hearing your perspective. Can you provide a link to the 2013 clarification from the regulators regarding mRNA that you spoke about around the 19 minute mark?
@msabouri@IBonnx Yes, a link or more complete info would be great. The point can also be observed with the anti-spike antibody testing limits from Labcorp. I believe they were initially 250, bumped to 2500, then finally 25000. https://t.co/rWrlHUuccL
@DavosSafety @snpoehlm Have you heard about trained innate immunity - where innate immune responses can be functionally enhanced after prior exposures, even though they’re not antigen-specific? It seems important but not widely discussed.
