@yazen27895@RupprechtDeino@orion_orionx I agree and in some ways; Algeria has bought more Chinese weapons than even Pakistan... such as the naval coastal variant of YJ-12, Algerian ships are armed with CM-302, corvettes, frigates, and as you mentioned SR-5, PLZ-45, etc.
Pakistan has gone for Turkish/Dutch systems 2
@Yepmtnf@orion_orionx@RupprechtDeino my bad... i had the Indian AWACS in my mind that the Indians must have bought them from Russia... but I just did some research and that deal was specifically signed between India and Russia; India upgraded much of its systems on its own (French, Israeli subsystems)
@kaskaide1@Tigershark_222 Rafale was taken out at a distance of around 220km near Bathinda... it has a probable max range of around 250km and probably more under ideal conditions... read this article, Indian officials themselves confirmed it that Rafale was hit from 200km+ range

@kaskaide1@Tigershark_222 Hmm, they are getting Rafale-M with Meteors but they are outmatched by our PL-15Es (250km+) and a future variety of BVRAAM... the only gamble India can play will be a strike package consisting of Super Sukhois armed with R-37Ms and their other jets armed with Astra series BVRAAMs
@Tigershark_222@kaskaide1 2/ PAF will field these: PL-15E (220km+ range), PL-16E (if China allows it; ~300km range), PL-21E (Meteor like, air-breathing ramjet powered, under testing with a 320km-350km range), PL-17E (~440km range)....
You can search it up too
@Tigershark_222@kaskaide1 1/ Su-30MKI or Super Sukhoi? Either way, they are much more heavy and prone to jamming and detection... RCS of a whole stadium I would say and the PAF will have no issues in taking them out first... the only threat then will be of Meteor, Astra series missiles
