I was informed that my mother has been sick 3 days ago by my dad on WhatsApp
I kept mute because I was still hurt

I couldn't just ignore for long so I took a bold decision yesterday to visit my parents after a long time of threats and curses from them since I reverted to Islam

My parents were shocked to see me though
So I bought them some provisions and gave to them like I used to in the past

I saw my mother and I was weeping inside my heart
I learnt they've gone to several hospitals but her condition persists

So without looking back I held her hands and started reciting surah falaq,nas and ayatul kursi
Then I got a glass of water and recited surah fatiha on it and blew air into it and gave her to drink because I learnt that surah is also called The Cure
My father didn't stop me
But I noticed my mum started getting relieved gradually

To cut the long story short I left towards the evening because I had a flight to catch to lagos and I left hurriedly

When I got to lagos as at 7pm I called them back and my father said my mum has been sleeping so I let them rest

This morning my dad's call woke me up by 4am to tell me that my mums sleep improved overnight and she's been moving her limbs better since last night
He said whatever I did yesterday worked o that he doesn't mind if I keep doing that

I was overjoyed after the call
I had my tahajjud and thanked Allah and prayed my mums health improves

But I still kept wondering how a simple surah from the Glorious Qur’an could be so effective
I am beginning to deepen my Fear for Allah SWT

On the other hand I am wishing they turn to Allah so they can see how Great Allah is and worship him too

Indeed Allah is the greatest

I am a Muslim, not by inheritance or blind imitation, but rather out of conviction and certainty.
Because I see Islam as the true religion that is in harmony with sound human nature—that nature that naturally inclines toward monotheism, rejects polytheism, and seeks a single, great Creator unlike any other creation, and is not limited by time or place.

Islam is the only religion that declares God to be one in a manner befitting His majesty and perfection, without likening or embodying Him. It glorifies God with an absolute glorification befitting His greatness.
Islam has answered the greatest existential questions that trouble the human mind and nature, such as creation, the purpose of life, and destiny after death. In it, I have found peace, certainty, and clarity.

Islam is not merely a belief; it is a comprehensive way of life that meets humankind's spiritual, intellectual, and social needs, and strikes a balance between this world and the hereafter, between the individual and society, between the soul and the body.

The Islam I believe in is an extension of the divine messages from Adam, peace be upon him, to the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad, peace be upon him. All prophets called for Islam in its true sense: monotheism, submission to God, and servitude to Him alone, even though their laws differed according to their peoples and times.
But the law brought by Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the final and final law. It came in the form of the Holy Qur'an, the miraculous word of God, preserved by His preservation until the Day of Judgment. This is what we see being fulfilled now: "A moment of reflection and truth."
God Almighty says: "Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian." [Al-Hijr: 9]
It has not been subject to distortion as other scriptures have been. It has remained preserved in hearts and pages, recited as it was revealed, and memorized by millions for more than fourteen centuries.

As for all other religions, despite their remnants of light and revelation, they have been subjected to distortion and alteration. Truth has become mingled with falsehood, they have lost their power in the face of the questions of human nature and reason, and they have become incapable of providing coherent answers to life's major questions.

Some wise men once said:
"Fitness is the path to God, reason is a witness, and revelation is a guide. Whoever combines these three will be guided, and whoever neglects them will go astray."
Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said:
"The true religion does not contradict human nature or contradict clear reason. Rather, it agrees with and complements them."

Therefore, I am proud of my Islam and believe that it is the path to salvation in this world and the hereafter. It is the guidance that, if a person adheres to it, will never go astray or suffer misery.

The modest man in the photo is a Pakistani -American man known as Prof. Ḥussein ‘Abdul-Sattār.

One of the chief professors in pathology in the University of Chicago and the creator of Pathoma video series which is one of the most famous sources of studying Pathology (the study of diseases) throughout the world.

He is also a renowned Shaykh therefore known as Shaykh Ḥussein ‘Abdul-Sattār.

Technically, this man is a teacher of tens of thousands of medical students around the world.

If Archbishop Chukwuma feels this way, then what does he want the family of Brigadier Ademulegun to say?

Mrs. Latifah Ademulegun was married to Brigadier Samuel Ademulegun. She was eight months pregnant when, on the night of January 15, 1966, Major Timothy Onwuatuegwu stormed into her matrimonial bedroom to kill her husband.

She got up from the bed and, stood in front of her husband, and refused to move. Major Onwuatuegwu then gunned down both her and her husband.

Their two underaged children, Solape and Kole, ran into the room and began to cry at the trauma of seeing both their parents' bloodstained bodies. They never recovered from the shock.

What about the family of Sardauna? What should they say?

Just a little over thirty minutes before, Hafsatu Bello, Sir Ahmadu Bello's first wife, did the same thing. She planted herself in front of her husband as a human shield, thinking that that would stop Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu.

But that was not to be. Nzeogwu gunned down both her and her husband.

What about the family of Colonel Kur Mohammed? The manner in which Major Chris Anuforo killed Lt. Colonel Kur Mohammed was particularly evil. Kur Mohammed did not resist or beg for his life. Rather, he started praying without asking for permission, at which point Anuforo rained bullets on his back.

Some people believe they were just sitting down minding their business, and Hausa people came to fight them (all Northerners are Hausa to some people) because they hate them. There was absolutely no provocation, or igniting events that preceded the Nigerian Civil War. Hausa people just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and, for some strange reason, decided to pounce on the people of Eastern Nigeria.

But, of course, that is not what happened. However, because we do not write our history, and even worse, we have refused to teach it in our schools, millions of people believe this version of events. In fact, they swear by it.

The truth is that if the January 15, 1966 coup had never happened, it is most unlikely that the Nigerian Civil War would have occurred. The perpetrators of that coup opened a Pandora’s Box that the rest of Nigeria is still suffering from today!

There was wild jubilation all over Nigeria after that coup, because Nigerians believed it was a patriotic and nationalistic coup. Then the names of those killed were announced over the radio, and it was discovered that only people from the North, West and Midwest were killed.

Out of 21 people killed by the January 15, 1966 coup plotters, only Lt. Colonel Arthur Unegbe was an Igbo, and the reason he was killed was because he was the QuarterMaster-General, Army Headquarters, Lagos, and therefore was in charge of the armoury.

If Major General Ironsi had punished the January 15, 1966 plotters as promised, there would not have been the counter-coup and the civil war.

The core Northern officers were pacified to an extent after Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi promised them he would try the January 15, 1966 coup plotters. Unfortunately, Aguiyi-Ironsi did not try them. Maybe he planned to do so later on, but up until July, he had not.

Then word got out that those arrested, including the most brutal of them, Major Chris Anuforo, were still receiving salaries in prison and, worse, were scheduled to be promoted. That riled the Northern officers.

Additionally, Igbos in the North were accused of mocking the late Sardauna, Ahmadu Bello. Some people had printed almanacks of his face on a goat's body. Others had made posters of Major Nzeogwu as Angel Michael, with his sword drawn and his leg on the head of satan, who was depicted as the Sardauna.

During the last election, some people repeated these same vile behaviours.

To add salt to injury, amusician named Celestine Ukwu released a song in Igbo titled Ewu Ne Ba Akwa, meaning ‘the goat is crying’, which Northerners felt mocked the Sardauna.

The Archbishop should consider this before making statements that reopen old wounds.

The Naira is finding its proper and natural value because the Central Bank of Nigeria has stopped the practice of defending the Naira with $1.5 billion monthly.

If you want the Naira to rise, don't come on social media to vent. Instead, it would be best if you now defended the Naira by coming on social media with Glo data.
