Israel's genocide has been decades in the making, in large part to the impunity enabled by the pro-Israel lobby in the US. Such violence doesn't occur without this kind of enablement

Republicans paid $40 MILLION of your tax dollars to Morocco to invade Spain.
And then they all pretended like borders matter and clutched their pearls like invasions are offensive.
R’s and D’s are the same and the Uniparty has put us in $40 T in debt and Americans LAST.
🇺🇸🇲🇦🇪🇸 Just 2 weeks before 60,000+ migrants crossed from Morocco into Ceuta, Spain, House Republicans passed a bill directing at least $40 million to Morocco.
The accompanying committee report even described Ceuta and Melilla as Spanish-administered cities “located in Moroccan territory” and backing talks over their future status.
The money included at least $20 million in security assistance and another $20 million in military financing.
Nearly every House Republican voted in favor of it (save for Thomas Massie).
Then Morocco relaxed border controls, and Ceuta was overwhelmed in the blink of an eye.
Was the timing a coincidence, or something else? 🤔

I crossed the Sahara Desert with migrants about a decade ago. Those in the video who crossed into Ceuta from Morocco neither looked like migrants (no luggage) nor did they behave like migrants (went back home with no protest). They looked like a rent-a-mob from Morocco's al-karyan, engineered to cross over and create a diplomatic crisis for Spain? Why? Well, ask the Israeli government, whose Moroccan partner is ever ready to create an embarrassment for the @sanchezcastejon government as a consequence of its position on the genocide of the Palestinians. Remember when the Moroccan King did the same thing in 2021 when the Spanish government arranged for medical care of Brahim Ghali (leader of @Polisario_).
Israel is shifting away from its traditional strategy of relying on American-led groups like AIPAC to advance its interests in the U.S., and is instead increasingly hiring foreign agents to ramp up its influence efforts, per a new paper from foreign policy think tank the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft.
— Israel has spent over $1 billion on public diplomacy efforts since 2023 — including more than $100 million on efforts to influence the U.S. disclosed under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, per the new report from @nick_clevelands, a research associate in the Quincy Institute’s Democratizing Foreign Policy program. The country is now on track to be the biggest FARA spender this year.

The Israel lobby has a pattern of cynically deploying sexual assault allegations to justify Israeli crimes in Palestine. The ICC investigation into these crimes was opened in 2021—by a different prosecutor & well before allegations against Khan—+ judges issue warrants, not the Prosecutor. CIJA also omits that the Court issued warrants for three Hamas leaders as well.
Khan's removal lines up neatly with the fight to neutralise Netanyahu's arrest warrant. Coincidence is a luxury intl law can no longer afford.
This proves that justice DOES threaten Apartheid Israel & Co. So if the ICC is paralysed, lawyers and judges worldwide must do more.
🇮🇱 Israel was responsible for getting rid of ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan after he issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu
Israeli diplomatic correspondent Guy Azriel revealed a senior official told him that FM Gideon Sa’ar played a key part in the push.
He oversaw a task force and used all the diplomatic leverage he could get to remove Khan from office.
It raises the question of how Israel has so much power that it can commit atrocities in Gaza and then get the prosecutor who tries to hold them to account sacked.
Putin couldn't even do that when Khan issued an arrest warrant for him.

"They THREATENED my family if I pursued ISRAEL."
International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim A. A. Khan KC says he, ICC judges, and UN officials faced threats after pursuing cases involving Israel, warning such pressure undermines the rule of law.
@KarimKhanQC
The Israeli government predictably challenges the International Criminal Court charges against Netanyahu and Gallant by pointing to prosecutor Karim Khan's sexual misconduct, but the charges were the product of a team of prosecutors, not just Khan, and approved by three ICC judges in the pretrial chamber. They will and should proceed, as should cases against Israeli officials regarding the war-crime settlements, the indiscriminate bombing, and the genocide, as I explain on CNN. The court just needs a credible prosecutor to pursue these charges. That was not Khan.
The Prosecutor who issued arrest warrants for Netanyau and Gallant is removed in political show trial! He was threatened they "will destroy you", & removed on spurious basis not legally supported. The claimant has track record of harassment claims against other ICC officials!
🚨 "Sarah" alleged inappropriate behaviour of another senior ICC official, also investigated & cleared before moving to complain Khan . . .
The independent Judges Panel in Khan disciplinary found no serious misconduct . . .
The ASP vote is political
