I want to say this publicly because I believe it's important to stand by people when times are difficult.
I've known @SunusiMinjibir as a man of integrity. My opinion of him isn't based on one good day or one bad day it's based on the character I've seen over time.
One moment that has always stood out to me was when he returned $135,000 to an exchange instead of keeping it. To me, that spoke volumes about the kind of person he strives to be. Character is revealed by the choices we make when no one can force us to do the right thing.
That's why, regarding the recent $SUNUSI incident, I find it difficult to believe it was something he deliberately planned or intended to use to harm the very community he has spent time building. While people may disagree about decisions or outcomes, I believe intent and character also deserve fair consideration.
Everyone has the right to ask questions and seek clarity. That's part of every healthy community. But we should also be careful not to destroy someone's reputation based on assumptions or emotions before all the facts are understood.
So today, I want to make my position clear:
I stand with Sunusi Damjuma Ali during these trying times. Not because I think anyone is above accountability, but because I believe integrity should not be forgotten the moment challenges arise. I hope the community will judge fairly, remain respectful, and allow the truth to speak louder than speculation.
