USYD Rocketry Team proudly presents our latest High-Powered Rocket, Rosella. Rosella had two nominal launches off of Tolarno Station, in April.
We owe our success to all our sponsors and partners, who have given us enormous support and guidance toward the completion of Rosella.
The rocket is named after the native Crimson Rosella. The launches verified various SRAD components within a high-powered launch environment.
Rosella has prepared the team to aim for greater heights and has served as a platform to develop more advanced and capable technologies.
Check out our latest reel where Industry Meets Rocketry! A massive thank you to all the sponsors who have supported us throughout the years and to those who were able to make it to Industry Night 2022!

So great to see such an amazing turn out for opening day of @Sydney_Uni Chancellor's Committee Book Fair. The Committee has supported our team for a number of years and we are lucky to have been able to help with set up this year!

We value the mental health of our team members, but not everyone is able to openly admit or ask for help when they are struggling. With mental health concerns on the rise globally, there is no better time than NOW to reach out and ask, R U OK?

Successfully launching rockets isn't easy! That's why we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing extensive and ongoing hands-on training to all @Sydney_Uni team members. This allows our newest members to experience the exhilaration of a successful rocket launch.
Our team tasted success again on our recent trip to #Mullaley where we saw our training #rocket Duskhawker achieve a nominal #flight and recovery. Duskhawker reached an #apogee of 1534m (5034 ft). Check out a snippet of our journey via the link below ๐๐ช

We value innovation and always try to create opportunities for our members to gain valuable hands-on experience. Our model rocket event (MRE) allows our new and existing team members to continue their training and development guided by our experienced technical team members.
It's #NationalScienceWeek! Our annual celebration of #Science and Technology includes more than 1000 events organised and run by various universities, schools, libraries, research institutions, museums and research centres.
This year's theme, 'Glass: More Than Meets the Eye' reminds our team how vital #glass has been in the manufacturing process of our #rockets. Understanding not just the nature of glass, but also the proper handling and processing techniques used in Industry is critical.
