A beautiful post from FB:
A question nobody asks:
Jantar Mantar.
A stretch of road.
Length: 200 metres. Width: 15 metres.
Total area: less than half a football field.
This is India's "protest site."
Now look at these numbers:
Jantar Mantar is 0.0002% of Delhi.
Delhi is 0.045% of India.
And Jantar Mantar is 0.00000009% of all of India.
What does that mean?
If India were a 30-foot dining table, Jantar Mantar would be smaller than a speck of dust on it.
But for the media?
If 500 people stand at Jantar Mantar, "the nation is boiling."
If a march happens in Delhi, "the people are on the streets."
And what's happening in the remaining 99.955% of the country?
That isn't news.
In a country of 1.4 billion people, the entire space for democratic dissent has been squeezed onto a single road where no more than 1,000 people are allowed to stand.
And the media has made this the yardstick of a "national movement."
Think about it:
A country of 3.2 million square kilometres.
More than 700,000 villages.
More than 700 districts.
Yet the "mood of the nation" is decided by one street in Delhi.
The real question isn't who's standing at Jantar Mantar.
The real question is:
Where is the voice of the rest of India?
Is there no camera to listen to it?
Or have we simply accepted that "Delhi = the country"?
As long as we believe one stretch of road is the pulse of the whole nation, 99.99% of India will go unheard.
Delhi is the nation's capital.
But Delhi is not the nation.

Highly disappointed with the seat condition allotted to me in Indigo airline, DXB to AMD 02 Feb 2026 @IndiGo6E@dnatatravel and I am unhappy with the ground staff, who seems intentionally allotted this seat 31F, when asked for window seat!! Though I was one of early check-in.
You are wrong, @RahulGandhi.
PM @narendramodi is not afraid of President Trump. PM Modi understands the long game and his diplomacy with the U.S. is strategic. Just as @POTUS will always put America’s interests first, so will PM Modi do what is best for India. And I applaud that. That’s what Heads of State do. They do and say what is best for their country.
I don’t expect you to understand this type of leadership because you don’t possess the acumen to be PM of India. Best to return to your “I hate India” tour that has an audience of one - you.

@narendramodi@GovtOfIndia_ Well done
