Why are there so many horrible contractors? Impossible 2 get them to show up on time, respond to messages, do basic math. Seriously considering a new business where I gather a bunch of them and whip them into shape…

@bunaser81@Airbnb FYI they’re lying. I kept getting messages like that for weeks. I even contacted an executive at Airbnb and received a response but have yet to be helped.
@Airbnb This company continues to scam hosts and guests. Notice how any post on this Twitter immediately turns into an outlet for guests and hosts to complain about poor service. You’re better of using hotels or VRBO.
@Earl_GreyT@barbierikab@Airbnb@ethanabitz The “other” was a typo. That was an example. My point is that travel agencies and any company that functions to facilitate travel (such as by providing housing like Airbnb) should be lenient to consumers so that they continue to do so in times when people are more hesitant
@IssaRae@Airbnb@Airbnb has been harming consumers and refusing to provide refunds (even where the host allows it). Be careful when booking — they have no control to help you if things go wrong. You might end up losing your money. See @AirbnbHelp for comments from frustrated hosts and guests
@Earl_GreyT @Caren_Regina_ @AirbnbHelp I posted a US one somewhere earlier. Anyway this is irrelevant. Not trying to debate legal precedent. If someone wants to sue hopefully they aren’t doing it solely based on guidance from Twitter. Just on here to bring light to their behavior and how they are preying on ppl!
@Earl_GreyT@barbierikab@Airbnb@ethanabitz True. And you’d think in Covid times they would be more lenient to customers as other travel agencies are. Plus there’s the threat of guests moving to hotels or VRBO, etc. My guess is they are reacting to the recent lawsuit from hosts. Though, they still screw both groups
I don’t know why, but when I think about putting a corrupt company that is hurting people every day on blast I think @chrissyteigen is the one for the job — save us Chrissy!! #boycottairbnb
@AirbnbHelp I have been dealing with Airbnb’s helpbot and now the host took $2,600+ from a retired vet who’s trying to get home. Thanks for not helping us and helping those who doesn’t deserve that money. It’s because of the host@and Airbnb we will be homeless next month 😭
@bchesky Lets not forget - AirBnb ONLY cares about their hosts. Listen closely to their priorities. Guests have to deal with their offshored Support team who are hard to get a hold of and have little motivation because they are paid little.
@bchesky@AirbnbHelp I’m having issues with my payouts, you guys are holding more than $15k in reservations and I can’t get a hold of anyone that can give me an answer. How is this possible? It has been more than a week and I’m afraid this is going to be like some of those scary stories online.
