Celebrating My Eldest Brother at 75
Today, 30th August 2026, I celebrate my eldest brother, Dominic Ositadimma Obi, who turns 75. I celebrate him not merely because he is my elder brother or because of his age, but because he is an exemplary human being.
When I was Governor of Anambra State for eight years, he never came to my office or the Governor’s Lodge for a day seeking favours, as many might have expected. He is a planner and contractor who builds homes for people, yet not once did he ask me for a government contract.
Whenever we met, he would warmly embrace me and tell me that he was fine. He would then solemnly remind me to keep doing what I promised the people and never bring a bad name to the family and my community. He would tell me that whatever difficulties he was going through, many others were worse off, and that I should do my best for society.
I later came to understand that this was not peculiar to him alone. My family members had actually held a meeting and resolved that none of them would take advantage of my position as Governor. They decided that whatever good name I was building for the Obi family and Agulu must be protected. The same principle extended to my children.
Today, at 75, my beloved brother remains deeply concerned about Nigeria. Whenever we speak, he is full of prayers and good wishes. He constantly reminds me that if I have the opportunity to serve Nigeria, I should do so with honesty, integrity, and the interest of the people at heart.
Brother Dom, I thank God for the gift of your life and for the example you have set for our family. Your integrity, humility, contentment, and sense of responsibility are qualities worthy of celebration.
May God Almighty, who has graciously been with you all these years, grant you good health, His abundant grace, and blessings.
Happy 75th birthday, my dearest brother. -PO
They'll explain how 800gb data thats meant to last for a year reduced to 91gb within 3 months. Bloody theives! They must explain.
The amount of Nigerians that are affected by this is uncountable and even with their hiked prices of data they're still stealinh for their customers.
Hello everyone, please, I urgently need your help and attention. My sister and other NYSC corps members who left Bayelsa State yesterday were attacked along the Kogi Express Road. Sadly, the driver was killed, and the corps members were reportedly taken into the forest.
Up until now, we have not heard from them, and the family is deeply worried and devastated. We have contacted the police, but unfortunately, we have not received any positive feedback yet.
Please, I am appealing to the NYSC, the Federal Government, security agencies, and everyone who can help to urgently intervene and do everything possible to rescue them safely.
Please, we don’t want anything to happen to our loved ones. . They are someone’s children, siblings and loved ones. Their lives matter.
Please help us amplify this message and tag the relevant authorities. We are begging for urgent action before it is too late.

Word salad.
Go and look at the state of all our national stadiums.
If you want to restore our national pride, start from there.
If athletes cannot train using world class equipments, we don't get world class talents. Really as simple as that.
The president of Morocco didn't release press release on press release about restoring Moroccan football. They simply set about investing in the sport.

The person who invented the word “wonders shall never end” had Nigeria in mind!!!
Senator Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi went to campaign in Izzi, Ebonyi State, but there was no bridge connecting him to the town.
So, he stood on the other side of the river to solicit for votes.
I’m speechless.
@Mary_Annie__ At the end of the day, it really isn’t their fault. Most people have seen that we reward abnormality by making them go viral. Go on TikTok now and you’ll see them ‘kikikiing’ to this absolute rubbish. So everyone is trying to be the next viral sensation!

Again, pay attention to Policy and Politics.
You see how a neglected road impacted your movement which led to the death of your fish and loss of money.
Now imagine if this fish farm is run with loans.
Hold your government.
A poor tenant will listen to Hamzat, Doherty, and GRV and then vote for Hamzat.
Then beg for rent.
Nigeria is a crazy country with a high population of crazy people.
