It was awesome being a part of this course and learning from all of you! Digital technology has become so powerful and I truly feel that I have learned so much by being a part of this class. #DigiTechF21A

@AROOJAMJAD17 This is one of my favorite answers I have read. I couldn't agree more that technology of any kind has the ability to disrupt our lives and alter the way we view things.

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@yvette_anning I agree with you! Social media has really taken over and helped us connect with one another especially being online.

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

My biggest takeaway from this course is truly how much I have realized our world has become digital. From surveillance, smart homes, to communicating with one another It seems that it would be very difficult to live without our phones as it guides us every day.#DigiTechF21B

I predict that video calls will take over and everything will eventually be online and remote. As the world is becoming more of a digital place my prediction is that video calls will be one of the most popular ways people communicate. #DigiTechF21A

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@adnankole7 I actually love this because I can also see drones taking over especially for delivery purposes. I feel that in general, our lives have become more about technology and convenience.

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@yuhmaris Totally! AI technologies as a whole will take over but I definitely agree with you in stores as well because there is still a large percentage of consumers that want the in-person experience when shopping!

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@Travis43136480 I couldn't agree more with your statement. Even now it is extremely common for people to pay someone or spend money digitally. Most people I know do not even carry cash on them.

#DigiTechF21B #TXC21 For other students who would like to communicate through a hashtag, I would recommend expressing yourself appropriately and be mindful of what you say online because we don’t know the impact it can have on someone else.

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

#DigiTechF21B #TXC21 Through this activity I have learned there are many ways to communicate with my peers and many resources that we all have access to that can help us succeed. I have also learned a lot about Rutgers and the campus life.

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@georgekcp97 I love this tip because when I am on campus I notice how many private spaces there are to do work or study. The first time I went in the student center I was stunned at the amount of spaces that was available for me to do my work.

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@adnankole7 This is an extremely helpful tip and can benefit so many students by staying on task and focused. Downloading the canvas app on my phone has helped me stay on top of my assignments and i’m sure not many people know about all of the tools that we have access to as students

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@yvette_anning I definitely agree with you knowing when to focus and when you can hang out is important! It’s easy to get distracted but finding a balance makes things much easier

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

can make such a difference! The Rutgers Library has helped me focus and manage my time very well by prioritizing my school work. Once my studying and school work is done I can relax or socialize!

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

A great tip for thriving and finding success at Rutgers would be to time manage and put your priorities on top! It gets difficult managing work, studying, and having a social life but dedicating a couple hours at the Library or even in your own space #TXC21 #DigiTechF21B

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@amanda_stellwag I love how you related this back to your own experiences because that is what this is really about! It’s amazing to see how involved you are and what being a scarlet knight means to you.

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@DcimSydnee I liked your answer because I have mainly been to campus at night because of my night class and there is still so much activity that goes on! In the Yard I always see so many people either waiting for class or hanging out.

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

@nunez_mondo I love this photo and I definitely agree that the Library can be a place where a lot of learning happens. This definitely represents Rutgers in a great way!

[Valentina DeCicco @valdecicco]

#DigiTechF21B #TXC21 This photo depicts the essence of Rutgers. Rutgers football is a perfect example of how everyone comes together to support one another. Being a transfer student, that is one of the most common themes I see around campus.
