@CharleneWhite Your experience of shop racism reminded me of when as a teen, I followed a black woman round a counter because my job was to help her. She raged at me. Later a black friend came in. When I told her, she said it was the woman's problem. Wasn't though, was it?

Wondering if you're mixed up over bird sounds. What you ascribe to the blackbird sounds more like a wren, which has a rapid trill towards the end of its song.
