@danielw_rosala @MikeChillit I'm afraid so; we don't have enough experience with fatigue of carbon in a PH. It's a lightweight, promising, stiff material but perhaps prone to cracks?
The other case is the connection ring between metal & carbon: discontinuity, different elasticity & behavior under stress.

@MikeChillit Good point, Mike. But it was a small boat: 10 tons displacement mean less than 10m3 bubble on surface. That is a ball of 1.34m radius, which can definitely pass unnoticed at a distance.
