Amazing that the post-approval safety monitoring system was able to successfully detect a 1 in hundreds of thousands risk of VITT within a couple months of rollout, and that many places responded so quickly.

Does not fit the narratives that there is no safety monitoring, and also note that this risk would have never been detected in the randomized trials even if they followed up participants for a hundred years.
