@fomo Is running a backdoor with Leaderboard KOLs
The leaderboard on @fomo is not a scoreboard. It is a shelf.
The app sells a simple story: follow winners, copy the trade, stop thinking. KOLs at the top look like proof. Green PnL, a short thesis, a ping when they buy. Users tap follow because they are afraid of being late. Behind the shelf is the cash flow: trading fees, volume, and exit liquidity for whoever got in first.
A back door does not need a public contract. It only needs aligned incentives.
KOLs need rank to stay visible. Rank needs clean PnL in the 24h / 7D window. Clean PnL needs a coin running at the exact moment the feed pushes the fill. The app needs volume. Users need the feeling that “alpha has already been verified.” When those four things line up, nobody has to say it out loud. The KOL just has to show up in the right place, at the right time, on a coin that still has room to dump.
The pattern is familiar.
One: cosmetic rank. Trades that should be seen happen on the app. The side wallet runs off-app. On the board it is a “verifiable on-chain track record.” On the way out, the dump never hits the profile people are copying. A cofounder already sketched the logic: if side wallets dump, the coin dies and the KOL falls off the board — so follow the track record. That is half true. The other half: users copy what they are shown, not what they are not shown.
Two: thesis, then exit. A short note on a profile looks like research. In practice it is a liquidity magnet. Followers pile in. The KOL cuts size while the notification is still ringing. The feed still says “holding.” The chain says the store is selling.
Three: short-horizon rank. A 24h / 7D board rewards whoever just won a tape, not whoever refused trash. One farmed wave in the right week is enough to get put in the window. Users think they are copying a top trader. They are copying whoever just got stocked on the shelf.
Four: the copy flow is the product. The more people follow, the easier the fill becomes an exit. The app does not have to “sell users out” in a press release. It only has to let KOLs be the storefront, let the feed be the loudspeaker, and take a fee in the middle. Users are not robbed on paper. They are sold the feeling of not missing out.
Someone will say the data is public and everyone chooses. True. Also true: the product is built so that choice happens in two seconds, when the ping hits, while someone else’s PnL is still green. That is not research. That is distribution.
If @fomo is not running a back door with KOLs, ship a board that cannot survive without them being honest: split out side wallets, flag sells while a thesis is still up, rank by the copy-PnL of followers instead of the PnL of the person being followed, and disclose KOL deals. Until those exist, the gold list is still a banner. Users are still volume.
Not every KOL on the board is eating the herd. It only takes enough of them doing it — and the app still taking fees on the same pipe — for the back door to be open. No sign required. Just a leaderboard

I dumped it all. The Maelstrom directional book, took profits on $ETH, $ENA, $UNI and other shitcoins. I think we gotta go down to go up. It looks a bit dicey out there in macro and geopolitical land. Going to sit on the sidelines and wait for the all clear signal … Brrrrr

[Metric @metricxyz]

5 days after public launch, Metric has crossed $11M TVL and $1.2B in volume.

Nearly $500M of that came from tokenized stocks on @bnbchain and @RobinhoodCrypto.

Thanks to everyone for the incredible support.

We’re just getting started.

we are entering the most interesting times of gaming industry and crypto will play a huge role in the next inning

instead of going to VCs and wait for 6 to 12 months at least, game devs will look to fund and monetize the attention on their game faster

this will turn a very large portion of them into tokenizing their games, and this is the place where we can make huge positive difference in the journeys of game devs

compared to before they won't need millions, but just subscriptions, server budgets and the empowerment for distribution/growth

vibe/vibe will a household name in many categories, but i reckon our biggest thing will be gaming + AI

even right now most of the builders in our community are making games, naturally

the fact that we previously founded the largest web3 gaming incubator and launchpad, and been building games with AI when very few was doing it, gives us the edge to be valuable to others and Robinhood chain ecosystem here

again, our sole thing won't be vibe gaming, but we reckon it will be one game devs, vibe coders, and indie studios choose us for a lot

If there's something everyone agrees on is that the trenches NEED new blood - and we need it asap.

PUMP is trying to do so by starting to onboard normie-friendly guys like Kimchi to the pumpfun app

If we judge by $PUMP's performance today (up almost 10%!) - then the investors most definitely like it.

Will it actually make a difference? Time will tell -> but thanks to those trading apps it's now way easier to "onboard" internet normies..

how pumpfun traders bundle & shill 50k toppers

some $50k toppers are not organic. your favourite kols are literally dumping on you daily

> how bundling works:

- use a jito bundler (jtools, solbundler, smithii, trenchbay, or github scripts)
- create token + coordinate buys from 8 - 20+ wallets in the same block
- spread supply so no single wallet looks big
- tip jito so the bundle lands atomically (all or nothing)

> bundling tools:

- jtools: https://t.co/ApCstKN7Yk
- solbundler: https://t.co/vTdgdxra2D
- smithii: https://t.co/NSLlAQyC4J
- jito: https://t.co/Af0o8pDDVG
- there are more tools

> volume & holder tools:

- volume bots run automated buy/sell cycles across wallets
- holder bots add wallets that buy and hold small amounts
- bump / maker bots increase transaction activity to attract attention on pump fun and dexscreener
- these metrics can create the appearance of organic demand

> shilling layer:

- call it on pump fun
- push the callout to followers
- some promoters receive rewards or paid incentives
- pair with tg groups and x for simultaneous calls
- use trending visibility to attract new buyers

> typical flow:

- bundle at launch
- boost holders + volume
- call once it shows traction (or pre position before promoting)
- early wallets scale out into incoming volume around 150 - 300k in some cases
- move to the next one

> things to check before you ape:

- bubblemaps = early wallet clusters
- trench radar = bundled supply
- solscan = first block buyers + funding
- cabal hunter = suspicious wallet activity
- dexscreener = volume + price action
- check if top wallets still hold a big %
- trace wallets funded by the same address
- compare recent callouts with actual price action

tools made this meta possible. some tokens top around 50k because early wallets are already deep in profit, they just dump on the new buyers

bookmark this. dyor before you chase the next one
