The thing with vrc light volumes is that people have seen this kind of things before, but they don't realize how much faster it is compared to other solutions. You can easily use this in android quest 2 worlds with very little performance penalty.
I'm working on a new major VRC Light Volumes update!
- Baked realtime shadows (very performant)
- Animated cookies and cubemaps
- Optimized area lights
- No more legacy code
- Almost full back compatibility with older light volumes shaders (excluding new shadows)
I recently found out that reading skills for agents is way easier than reading documentation for humans. I noticed this while checking out an UdonSharp skill by @niaka3vrc, everything there is just so simple and clear

"5ka ะััััะพัะบะฐ" world got updated featuring New Year's celebration fireworks (thanks @RED_SIM) and @VRChat Entertainment Network livestream. Come to check it out!
My biggest fear about VRChat's monetization is that items will never be free to create or use (like avatars or worlds), because it's just not profitable for them. But I like the idea of selling first party portals or loading screens
This limited-use stuff is the worst of the worst. I'm just NEVER EVER going to use this thing even though I think it's actually cool because what if I want to use it in the future and don't have uses left.
I HATE THIS! I want to make it snow!!!!!!!!!
