Two days ago we launched the first trustless, non-custodial swaps on Magi with HIVE/HBD and BTC/HBD pools.
The launch went better than expected and only minor bugs surfaced that were swiftly dealt with. Right now, we are starting work on UI optimisation for Altera and the Incentive Pendulum that will allow for validators/node runners to start earning rewards for securing the chain.
Over the next couple of days, starting with $DASH, $Ethereum and $USDC, we will be adding more liquidity pools.
The community support has been overwhelmingly positive and we want to repay the community by continuing to deliver at this accelerated pace for as long as we can.
Start your crosschain journey today.

We are live!
Go to https://t.co/a2y9Tw7zlz and test the first trustless crosschain swaps ever on Hive.
This is day 1 software and the pools have shallow liquidity for now so any large swap in relation to pools can move the price.
If you have a Xverse and Leather wallet you can now also hold Hive and HBD in Bitcoin wallets.
Transfer BTC, Hive and HBD between your Hive wallet address and your BTC wallet address.

We executed the first native BTC swaps on Magi in both directions.
Real Bitcoin came in, hopped through HBD as settlement, and arrived as native HIVE on Hive mainnet. Reversed: HIVE through HBD and out as real BTC on Bitcoin mainnet, completely trustless, TSS signed, without bridges, wrapped tokens, and middlemen.

We did it!
Next we are bringing native DASH, DOGE, BCH to Magi with plans for ETH and USDC starting, all with a Fiat onramp and offramp.
No more CEX dependence for Hive and any future project we integrate with.
A better, decentralized future begins today.
As native $BTC liquidity pools prepare to launch on MAGI in the coming days, we’re excited to announce the start of our next major integration with our friends at @Dashpay.
Dash has established itself as being one of the most important privacy coins in the cryptocurrency market, built to keep financial activity protected.
Magi is bringing native $DASH into a non-custodial, cross-chain liquidity network, creating one of the most meaningful connections ever built between the Hive and Dash communities.
➡️ Direct native swaps between DASH and BTC, HIVE, HBD, and all future integrated blockchains
➡️ Non-custodial, trustless
➡️ No KYC. No wrapped IOUs. No centralized custody.
Unlike traditional cross-chain AMMs, every pool pairs assets against $HBD, a decentralized non-KYC stablecoin based on the Hive blockchain, meaning liquidity providers are not exposed to volatility from the opposite asset.
➡️ More predictable liquidity provisioning
➡️ Stable routing across chains
➡️ No forced exposure to price movement of another volatile asset.
With Magi, DASH becomes a peer asset in the future global liquidity layer.
What our technology also enables:
➡️ BTC, HIVE, wallets holding and sending DASH through using our “Native Asset Mapping” tech
➡️ Payments made in DASH directly from other chain wallets on Magi network
➡️ Real cross-chain user flow and new liquidity access for the Dash ecosystem
And this is just the beginning.
In the near future we aim to allow DASH wallets to interact directly with our application layer and Smart Contracts, creating more utility for Dash users as well as creating a multi-chain future for those building applications on Magi.

@WalterBright Yet, an overwhelming majority of recent grads I've interviewed fail at being able to explain their own code or be able to work through hypothetical abstract engineering problems let alone soft skills. The piece of paper doesn't make the grass greener.
Hi, to clarify on the NFT example, the NFT lies on the VSC network. This allows the NFT to seamlessly transition between wallets VSC supports such as EVM, Solana, BTC, etc. At the moment EVM wallet support is live on mainnet with Solana and BTC coming later this year.
@tydynrain3 @vsc_eco The problem is that EVM wallets have no creation cost. So it is required to obtain some HBD for RCs to interact with the network. We plan to provide some special exemptions for Altera users until they acquire RCs of their own.
