decided to finally make an open romeposting twitter account, and now am looking for moots! i mostly draw my late republic guys and post thoughts on monographs and other lit. follow to see more of this loser :-)
the humble sacriportus: hi as my name suggests i am literally charged with terrible ambiguous energy very fit for consecration. have a decisive battle near me please please please
thinking about how sacriportus is an unidentifiable place that exists only in relation to the battle and the only thing known about it is that it was some portus considered sacer. read an article that was like 'well i don't want to suggest that 'sacer' has to do with sulla BUT--'
like this idea a lot but what i like even more is that sacer is a pointedly ambiguous word in the sense that it means both sacred and cursed and both meanings are deeply interconnected since for instance both qualities set the sacer thing apart from other things to a vast degree
@evilkweene69 TRUE😭😭i wanted to like it so badly, but the only thing great about it was the visuals. otherwise it's literally your average plain story with a vague (in a bad way) setting
O curta 'THE LOVERS' já está disponível no youtube.
Produzido pelo Studio Heartbreak, animação é sobre uma chef de um restaurante de frutos do mar, que se apaixona por uma sereia.
@mettgremlin i don't think it's bad. i don't think it's that good either. i would advise to start on it, and see for how long you'll be able to last. at the very least you'll find out where some headcanons which can be found even in scholarly research (hi mr drogula) came from
@mettgremlin i think i would appreciate her more, now that i am well-versed in prosopography, but to a person unaccustomed to one million romans the series might seem too convoluted - and perhaps it is! and then there's misogyny. and her misguided views on roman homosexuality
