This thread remains one of my favorites. It really encapsulates the Nigerian spirit of grit and resilience. And Lambda’s investment here paid off tenfold in terms of her accomplishments and good publicity.
The boot camp is grueling.
And it’s pretty obvious that some people there have never been through any kind of academically intensive program.
Any Nigerian will have already gotten that experience out of the way in boarding school as did I so I just grit my teeth & got on with it
They will offer tranquility, reduced cost of living and efficiency to innovators looking for balance. Cities like Miami that offer a robust nightlife/social scene, beautiful natural landscapes will become increasingly popular. Especially if they’re efficient.
Major cities are experiencing less traffic to their downtown districts, as more countries also start to offer digital nomad residencies. This is an opportunity for “vacation countries” to increase GDP from tax payments as opposed to just tourism.
They escape scrutiny by using the right language. I’m more comfortable in the company of the openly treacherous, than greedy power hungry posers who exploit with a gratuitous smile.
Very wary of people/institutions that pose as messiahs of any kind. Especially if they align themselves as pro “immigrant” “diversity” “gender equality”. Quite often they utilize power in callous ways. Often dishonorable and ruthless in their personal dealings.
One of my greatest peeves with humans is our penchant for reckless indiscriminate procreation. And unfortunately most solutions geared towards solving this problem teeters on the slippery slope of eugenics, even if not intended at the conception of said ideas.
