மதுரை மாவட்டம் மேலவளவில் 1997 ஆம் ஆண்டு அரசியல் உரிமைகளுக்காக உயிர்நீத்த போராளிகள் மாவீரன் மேலவளவு முருகேசன், செல்லத்துரை, முருகேசன் தம்பி க.ராசா, சேவுகமூர்த்தி, கொ.மூக்கன், மூ.பூபதி, ஆ.சவுந்தரபாண்டி ஆகிய அரசியல் உரிமை மீட்புப் போராளிகளின் 29 ஆம் ஆண்டு நினைவுநாளான இன்று மேலவளவில் விசிக சார்பில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள விடுதலைக் களத்தில் மலர் வளையம் வைத்து மலர் தூவி வீரவணக்கம் செலுத்தினேன்!
