I’m really proud of this new group I’ve help set up with @mums_aid and @TheBridgeSE10. It means families like ours in @Royal_Greenwich will have the support and friendship they need right from the start.
We are so pleased to offer this new support service in @Royal_Greenwich
It's not just babies with medical conditions or disabilities that need additional support, but their parents and carers too
Please share details with your network so we can help as many families as possible

What impact can #research make on people, policy & practice? What are the most valuable types of learning & knowledge products generated through research? This #evaluation discusses.
Thanks to @ameliarule for giving a UK Shelter Forum update at #ShelterWeek today. #ClimateChange: Is the #humanitarian shelter sector ready? All materials now online at https://t.co/0Ipt2tpwPL
@DavidPrevatt2 @UCLIRDR Good question. Yes HBW is prevalent everywhere. We found there’s quite a lot of research on it in the Global North, but almost none in humanitarian contexts in the Global South. That’s where we will focus our efforts with a view to improving humanitarian policy and practice
A pleasure to present my research with @ewagemann and @CornubianBeth on #humanitarian shelter and home-based work today as part of #ShelterWeek. Visit https://t.co/RZjCDjtXum for more info
Why is making space and opportunity for home-based work (HBW) so important in #humanitarian#shelter and housing?
@vcmaynard's new blog post is out, and we see why the future of #humanitarian response is in informal settlements in #urban areas.

Videos from the UK Shelter Forum are now online! Climate change: Is the shelter sector ready? https://t.co/0Ipt2tpwPL Many thanks to @uclirdr and @NRC_Norway for co-hosting and to all the presenters and participants for making it such a great event! @ShelterCluster@sheltercases
@philduloy @FCDOGovUK @DRRDynamics @HayleyCapp@careintuk Maria Kett talks about the danger of siloing people by identity - and not considering intersectionality fully. She recommends the use of the Washington short set of questions for disability as a good starting point to identify disability needs. #UKSF28
And the redoubtable @vcmaynard returns with an update on research on the impact of home-based working on shelter (and vice versa).
