Tomatoes – Not in the fridge
Garlic – Keep in dry place
Carrots – Submerged in water
Onions – Never next to potatoes
Bread – Freezer
Cabbage – In fridge drawer
Bananas – Wrap with aluminum foil
Flour & grains – In airtight containers
Eggs – In the fridge in the main compartment (not the door).
Olive oil – Cool, dark place
Sugar – Airtight container
Salt – Dry container
Apples – Fridge drawer, separate from other fruits.
Cherries – Fridge, unwashed
Milk – Store at the back of the fridge where it’s coldest.
Yogurt – Fridge
Cooked meat – Fridge 3–4 days
Rosemary/Thyme – Wrapped in damp towel
Pasta – Airtight, dry place
Leafy greens – Wash, dry thoroughly and store in a container with paper towels.
Butter – Fridge or freezer
Avocado – Room temp to ripen and fridge when ripe
Oranges – Fridge
