IMD responded to my first appeal. But they said project cost is confidential and cannot be disclosed.

Supply order for procurement and installation of S-band DWR at Honnavar has been awarded in December 2025. As per project timeline, it will be commissioned by May 2027.

Regarding Dharwad DWR, site installation for X-band has been identified and pre-installation work at the site is ongoing by the form. The radar is likely to be commissioned shortly.

The underpass has been partially opened for traffic. We can directly go from Srinagar circle to Rani Chennamma stadium and Vivekananda Bhavan via circular junction in the underpass after the Science centre. Thanks @BhatAnvesh for the info.

Lane marking, reflectors on the road are already installed. Wiring has been done to install streetlights and it will be completed soon.

It is kept as a 2 lane road as KUD has 3 gates (Srinagar, Barakotri and Kalyan Nagar/Attikolla) and the traffic is distributed among all 3 gates. Everyone won't use this gate to enter or exit the campus. So not feasible for a 4 lane underpass.

1. Underpass from Srinagar circle

2. Circular junction is closed towards KUD Post office/VC quarters as the work is still in progress.

3. Underpass from above the circular junction towards Vivekananda Bhavan

4. Entrance to underpass towards Srinagar/Rani Chennamma stadium via circular junction from Vivekanada Bhavan side.
