Today, Hubballi Aerodrome Committee members Vishwanath Somapur @vishwanath1241 , Mr. Satish Munavalli, and I @nalavade met with airport officials for an inspection of the new terminal. We reviewed the progress, discussed the landscaping plans, and shared a few suggestions to further enhance the overall development.

The work is progressing well, and once completed, Hubballi Airport is set to become one of the finest airports in Karnataka.

Kudos to the @compolhdc @HDCityTraffic Department for the swift action in barricading this entry point. This was a much-needed step, as vehicles entering the one-way from this stretch had become a serious nuisance and safety hazard.

Such proactive measures will go a long way in preventing conflicts and ensuring smoother, safer traffic flow. Hope the enforcement continues strictly 👍

Very disturbing incident. A simple traffic disagreement turning into a violent attack shows how dangerously short tempers have become. Strict action against the accused is necessary, but more importantly, there is a need for better enforcement and public awareness on road discipline.

This stretch near Siddappajja Temple has become a major nuisance with vehicles frequently entering from the wrong side. The traffic department must strictly enforce one-way rules here to prevent such dangerous situations.

Disagreements on the road should never escalate to this level—people must stay calm and resolve issues responsibly.

Valid PUC certificates issued in Karnataka are NOT reflecting on the VAHAN / Parivahan system.
ANPR cameras in Goa automatically fine vehicles assuming “No PUC”.
This is causing harassment and ₹10,000 penalties for law-abiding citizens.

Normal for anti-opposition discussions to be going on since recently opened in **DMart** shop **Hubballi**.

While large retail chains like DMart attract crowds with discounts and bulk offers, small neighbourhood shops will still survive. For day-to-day needs or when someone needs just one or two items, most people prefer the convenience of the nearby kirana store rather than travelling to a big mall and standing in queues.

Yes, they may lose a portion of the monthly bulk shopping business, but their strength has always been proximity, quick service, and personal relationships with customers. These factors still matter a lot, especially for urgent or small purchases.

So rather than disappearing, neighbourhood shops will likely adapt and continue to coexist with large retail stores in the evolving market. 📷📷

Deeply saddened to hear about the untimely passing of Lensman Vaman Bhandage. He was a very soft-spoken and humble person, always seen covering events with great dedication and professionalism.
