@JTLonsdale there's also some really interesting work going on, some on behalf of DARPA, for distributed pharma manufacturing (ie deskop device). Imagine downloading the instructions for a new drug and having it made on the spot. We need the regulatory environment to enable this as there is no framework to allow it now, but it will collapse the price of pharma and shift it to IP only, zero marginal cost dynamics like apps or websites (blue curve instead of red curve).
