#NitiAayog in collaboration with the Govt. of #Gujarat and @FollowCII organized the “Workshop on Development of Net Zero Roadmap for the States”. Dr. V.K. Saraswat, Member, NITI Aayog kickstarted the dialogue on crafting state-level energy transition roadmaps at the workshop in Ahmedabad today, and talked about the vital need for strategic energy planning at the state level.
Shri Kanubhai Desai, Minister for Energy and Petrochemicals and Finance, Govt. of Gujarat, underlined the importance of collective responsibility of state and union govt in shaping India's clean energy future. Shri Rajnath Ram, Advisor Niti Aayog highlighted that NITI Aayog will support states in preparation of energy transition roadmaps. The workshop paves the path for deeper and strengthened engagement with state governments
