Yesterday, My First Bitcoin team attended one of the @bitcoinindo21 community meetup.
Everyone shared their Bitcoin story, and each story was rooted in something different: a personal story, a local need, a moment of realizing money did not have to work the way they had always been told.
To the Bitcoin Indonesia community in Bandung: thank you for making space for the conversations.🧡⚡
Five independent communities graduated MFB Bitcoin Diploma cohorts in a single month; Kenya, South Africa, Malawi and beyond.
The impact of free, open source curriculum that communities pick up and make their own.
This is what education that empowers actually looks like. 🧡

Yesterday in Bandung, we had a conversation with @Silatoshi_id about one of the core stories of the next episode of our documentary series.
Bigger Than Bitcoin series is built for the communities we film to tell their stories, in their own words how Bitcoin education and adoption is impacting their lives and the people around them.
How do you build Bitcoin adoption inside a legal grey zone? That is one of the questions we are chasing in the next episode of Bigger Than Bitcoin.
@Silatoshi_id a community leader from @bitcoinindo21 will be showing us how they are growing bitcoin adoption despite a regulatory picture that keeps shifting under them.⚡️
At @MyFirstBitcoin_ , we build open source Bitcoin curricula and train educators to bring them to their communities.
The Bitcoin Diploma, Introduction to Bitcoin, and Bitcoin for Juniors are free, translated into 40+ languages, and being used by 90+ communities worldwide.
We equip the educators who are able to teach people, and we let each community make it their own.
Because Bitcoin education that lands well is Bitcoin education that feels like it belongs to you. 🧡⚡️

My First Bitcoin team in Bandung filming the next episode of Bigger Than Bitcoin documentary series.
The goal is to understand Indonesia's history, its culture, and how Bitcoin adoption is really happening on the ground.
Our documentary director @thekylehuber is always on a roll! 🧡

Our team and @bitcoinindo21 spent the afternoon inside Museum Bank Indonesia, a building that was once the country's first central bank.
Every history inside is about the same question we ask in every community My First Bitcoin reaches: what is money, who controls it, and what happens to the people who never get taught how it works. That is part of the premise of Bigger Than Bitcoin.🧡
Let’s go⚡️

Jakarta city, through the lenses of the people building it.
Today the My First Bitcoin Bigger Than Bitcoin crew filmed with community members who represent different ways the bitcoin movement takes root in Indonesia.
Different entry points into Bitcoin, one shared pattern of not waiting for someone else's permission to start.

Matthias from Switzerland 🇨🇭 wanted to actually understand Bitcoin: how it works, why it was created, how to use it responsibly.
That is the direct benefit working with @MyFirstBitcoin_ as an educator gave him: a solid, structured foundation in Bitcoin knowledge that took him past headlines and speculation. The curriculum built his confidence in self-custody, security, monetary history, and financial sovereignty, and gave him something harder to teach than facts, the ability to think critically and make informed decisions instead of reacting to hype.
In @matt_free_da 's words, it helped him "engage with Bitcoin from a position of knowledge rather than uncertainty."
This is one educator's perspective from inside the My First Bitcoin education network, and it echoes across the movement. Right now, that network spans 90+ communities in 40+ countries, with 195+ active educators reaching 30,000+ learners.
Every one of those numbers is a version of @bcation_space 's story: someone who moved from uncertainty to conviction, then turned around and started teaching others to do the same.

This week's Education Network Spotlight is @BitcoinEkiti 🇳🇬
Ekiti State is known for its scholars. Now it has Bitcoin educators too.
Based in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria, Bitcoin Ekiti is building a circular Bitcoin economy from the ground up, through structured training programs, merchant onboarding, workshops, and public education for anyone who walks into the community: students, entrepreneurs, artisans, business owners.
Their mission is straightforward: bridge the knowledge gap between Bitcoin and everyday people, and make sure that when someone leaves a session, they can actually use what they learned.
In a country where inflation is lived, Bitcoin education is not a nice-to-have. It is infrastructure.
