“A republic, if you can keep it” said Franklin. Right now it is time for all who care to get busy doing what they can to keep it.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@secretsqrl123 Thanks David. Always appreciate you specialist knowledge.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@duvimom Thank God Kimble is speaking out!

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@OxanaShevel Trump make sense? I think you may be asking too much.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@PopovaProf I would accept no less ftom a woman who models her look after an off duty female Nazi camp guard.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@rugasco1 Yes. Yesterday Russia lost more SU-34 jets than they made last year. Reports now say Russia’s machine gun stockpile is drying up. UKR’s op Vivaldi has reduced Russia’s net gains for the year to 100 square KM and isn’t done yet.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@joshtpm The low energy is draining my phone battery.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@lembitopik Ukraine has already won. The fact that Putin is caught in a sunk cost trap shows that Putin continues to make the fatal misjudgments that led him to think Kyiv would be under Russian control in 3 days. Meanwhile Russia lost more SU-34s yesterday than they made last year.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@PopovaProf It appears Trump has backed down. I guess he stopped finding ways of avoiding Susan Wiles. Somehow I don’t think scores of GOP candidates stating the obvious that Trump’s pro-Russia games hurts them would elicit as much if Trump’s attention.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@PopovaProf I confess I thought he would walk the intelligence sharing and Skyshield limits back after a getting lots of outcry from Republicans. Still a possibility, but I think you are right, though I also think it has worked. It is making Americans angry.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@policytensor @tom_d_ Stop denying Ukrainian agency. From 1991 until after 2014 Ukrainians supported neutrality. Indeed, Yanukovych won in 2010 on an anti-NATO ticket. Fat lot of good that did them, and don’t even think of playing the Nuland-Pyatt convo. Zelensky had nothing to do with that.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@policytensor Also Meersheimer predicted Ukraine would break apart down the middle. In fact, the war has united Ukrainians. Longstanding unapologetic Russian speakers are shifting to Ukrainian not praying for rescue ftom the Russian Army.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@LarrySabato It’s gotten so hard to hire competent vandals these days.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@DemFromCT I guess Karl Rove does have the pull he used to have.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@PopovaProf In other words Miller or Vance pushing the envelope while Susan Wiles was gone. I see this morning Trump is back on his lead talking about supporting Ukraine. and sharing intelligence. Trump’s talk comes cheap of course, but Wilkes’s phone won’t stop ringing until it is again.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@TrentTelenko @MalcolmNance He is already humiliated by it and his attempts to change the subject to “the energy ceasefire.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@JanDebeil @AmericaFirstCon I thought the Republicans were the party of moral clarity.

[Josh Marshall @joshtpm]

both very funny and also an example of the GOP having way too much money to have any idea what to do with

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@pdabrow I was struck by how quickly Trump shifted from how great the deal with Putin was to picking up on Zelensky’s energy ceasefire and claiming it was his and that he had brokered it.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

This is the first time retweet anything Brian Kilmeade has said in agreement. It likely will be the last, but it shows what Trump’s effort to ally with Putin is up against. Americans are against Putin. They support Ukraine, and Trump is too thick to draw the obvious conclusion.

[Ostap Yarysh @OstapYarysh]

A must-watch exchange between Brian @kilmeade and Rachel Campos-Duffy on FOX & Friends about Ukraine and Trump’s Russian diesel deal. Here’s the full transcript:

CAMPOS-DUFFY: I know you're a big fan of Zelensky, but yesterday President Trump said maybe it's time for an election and a new leader in Ukraine because Zelensky keeps blowing up these refineries after the president said, "Please don't do that," especially before the midterms. He keeps doing it, and it's hurting President Trump and the administration, who's been very generous toward him and his war effort.

KILMEADE: The president got ticked off because Zelensky came out and said, "Do not buy 5 million tons of diesel," which is in violation, I thought, of the bill they just signed, Lindsey Graham's bill, that says if you buy any energy from Russia, you're going to get sanctioned with tariffs. Are we going to tariff ourselves? So I have no idea. Zelensky's frustrated because now all this money is going to flow into Russia, which started this whole war unprovoked. They are the bad guys, and there is no way Zelensky turned down any plausible deal. In fact, since that time, when they told him he was going to lose the Donbas, he has gained back portions of the Donbas.

CAMPOS-DUFFY: Are you saying that there were no peace efforts?

KILMEADE: There was no plausible, practical peace effort that Vladimir Putin would participate in effectively that would end this war. There's one person who is responsible: Vladimir Putin. That is it. And he gets his ass kicked.

CAMPOS-DUFFY: There was a peace deal that—I think Turkey was trying to broker it, and Boris Johnson advised Zelensky not to take that deal.

KILMEADE: It doesn't matter. I don't know what Boris Johnson's doing now. Is he in a retirement home?

CAMPOS-DUFFY: I think there's a reason why the president is buying diesel from Russia, and that's because Zelensky keeps blowing up the refineries.

KILMEADE: Can you blame him? That's the war machine that's killing his people, that bombs apartment buildings.

CAMPOS-DUFFY: But he's dependent on us, and the president said, "Don't do this." Are you for America or for Ukraine?

KILMEADE: The diesel fuel got stopped because Iran was blowing up the Gulf states' oil and their refineries, and now all of a sudden there's a new emphasis on Russia. But for me, the way Ukraine innovated drone technology in order to take out what's fueling the Russian war machine is phenomenal. They'll be writing about this in war journals forever. The Ukrainians have modernized modern war before our very eyes.

CAMPOS-DUFFY: I'm not so sure that's a positive, Brian. I mean, there are 30,000 young men on each side who are dying every single month.

KILMEADE: Vladimir Putin.

CAMPOS-DUFFY: Every single month. We should not be practicing drone technology and using these kids as guinea pigs.

KILMEADE: What kids?

CAMPOS-DUFFY: The soldiers. These are young men…

KILMEADE: Rachel, these are in response to attacks. They're getting rocketed, so they found a way…

CAMPOS-DUFFY: The president said he wanted peace in Ukraine, and he said he was going to do that.

KILMEADE: Tell Vladimir Putin.

CAMPOS-DUFFY: Well, now, because of what Zelensky is doing, we're probably going to get peace there because President Trump is now working with Russia, because Zelensky is so arrogant.

KILMEADE: It would be the biggest mistake of his administration to work with Russia. That is the modern Hitler of our generation. He is the cause of all the problems in the region, and now he's helping Iran kill our guys and blow up our bases. And now, yeah, the story you pointed out to me today in The Wall Street Journal—you see that they and China are providing drones to the Houthis. China and Russia are the problem.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@PopovaProf It was clear Trump had overplayed his hand, and knew it the way an insect knows it is about to be swatted, waa when he started talking about the energy ceasefire.

[Victor Lane @VHLiv]

@DemFromCT We have reached the Mafia has gotten dumb and ineffectual phase of the saga of the GOP ratf*cking brigade. Now that Roger Stone is too old they’re all Fredos now.
